3 LandRay s Business Purpose: A NEW-GENERATION GROUND PENETRATING RADAR 3 LandRay s PRODUCT1 and subsequent introductions will respond to needs left entirely unmet since the inception of ground penetrating radar. LandRay s continuing investment in subsurface object detection and mapping products will incorporate beta customer field use experience to advance user productivity, improve operational features, generate custom solutions for specific user categories, and provide the basis for subsequent product introductions.

4 ABOUT GROUND PENETRATING RADAR (GPR) Ground Penetrating Radar functions much like radar used above ground. Antennas send signals through the ground which are reflected from buried objects and earth composition changes (e.g., the protrusion of a rock shelf into a sand field). Reflected radar signals containing information about the location and size of targeted objects are gathered by antennas, then filtered and processed into images. The introduction of PRODUCT1 will significantly expand the total market as LandRay s Digital Linear Frequency Modulation technology is broadly adopted. USER-DRIVEN Growth: Independent market research by Spar Point Research LLC estimates that the world market for non-invasive built conditions examination and documentation is growing and will continue to grow at 15% per annum because of societal trends. LandRay management estimates that there are at least 5,000 GPR systems currently in use in the US and Europe. Customer satisfaction with currently available GPR product performance is relatively low. 16 THE LandRay PRODUCT1 PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGE LandRay s new-generation ground penetrating radar is based on advanced Digital Linear Frequency Modulation technology and an innovative antenna design. This combination provides unprecedented performance advantages. u Field tests support a projection of suitable performance across approximately 80% of soil conditions. u Greater signal repeatability and data coherence results from the new LandRay DLFM radar technology, which will provide improved resolution, greater dynamic range, and faster data acquisition and processing speeds. u LandRay s innovative antenna design will allow the collection of dramatically larger data sets in significantly less time. u Rapid data processing of larger data sets will lead to improved image creation in near real time. 17 PROJECT COST REDUCTION 17 PRODUCT1 is designed to locate and accurately document underground conditions, allowing customers to maximize the efficiency of expensive excavation equipment and labor with an improved safety factor.

18 LANDRAY s PATENT ACTIVITY LandRay relies on patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property law, non-disclosure agreements and other protective measures to establish and preserve ownership of its technology, products and services. US 7,170,440 [Exp. December 2025] United States Patent and Trademark Office Patent US 7,170,440 was issued in January 2007 on LandRay s Digital Linear Frequency Modulated (DLFM) ground penetrating radar (GPR) system. US 7,391,362 [Exp. December 2025] United States Patent and Trademark Office Patent US 7,391,362 was issued in June This patent is a continuation of LandRay s application 11/298,203, now Patent No. 7,170,440, and claims alternative signal and signal management designs, greatly broadening the reach of US 7,170,440. u The patents describe a new form of ground penetrating radar made possible by novel signal generating and transmitting/receiving elements. A key feature of the system is the synchronous detection of return signals affected by time-of-flight delays from target objects This feature enables continuous, simultaneous transmission and reception of radar signals, greatly enhancing the data gathering capabilities of a GPR system Patent Cooperation Treaty Filing LandRay filed timely an application according to the Patent Cooperation Treaty to secure international recognition of United States Patent and Trademark Office No. US 7,170,440. LandRay intends to file for additional patents and copyright protection claiming other innovation deriving from PRODUCT1 design and build work. 19 ABOUT LANDRAY TECHNOLOGY 19 LandRay is constructing a new-generation ground penetrating radar product. LandRay s new approach will fill clearly identified needs of users of subsurface object detection devices which are not now satisfied by existing products. In 2002, LandRay began a product development project based on two key elements, Digital Linear Frequency Modulated (DLFM) radar and a novel antenna design. Independent technical and market analyses suggest that this combination of breakthrough technologies will result in immediate user adoption. LandRay was organized in 1996 to create a commercial market for high power impulse generators designed by Power Spectra, Inc. Field tests of an initial product, Seeker, fitted for high-value metals exploration in tunnel mines, was successful. Recent advances in the areas of power generation and consumption, circuitry miniaturization, and imaging software make introduction of this multimetals exploration device feasible.
