3 Section 1: Download The App

4 open the App Store.

5 search.

6 begin typing.

7 Type experiment assistant here. When you are finished, select Search.

8 download the Experiment Assistant app.

10 open the Experiment Assistant app.

11 create a new folder for your experiment.

12 Type your folder name here. When you are finished, select Done.

13 Your new folder will show up here. start an experiment.

14 Select any of these to begin changing the settings for the camera.

15 Select these to change to seconds, minutes, or hours. Type your settings here. When you are done editing your settings, select Done.

16 The number of pictures to be taken, total time of shooting, and the length of the time lapse movie to be created will be shown at these three locations. When you are satisfied with your settings, select Begin.

17 Change which camera to use first. Position the ipod correctly and select Start.

18 Time until the next picture. Total time remaining. Number of pictures taken and the total number to be taken.

19 Section 3: Detailed Look At Each Screen

20 open the Experiment Assistant app (see page 21).

21 If you select Camera Roll, photos will be organized into albums instead of folders. take a single photo manually (see page 23). delete the pictures saved with this app (see page 24). create a new folder for your experiment (see page 22). Select the x to clear the current text and replace it. Select an old folder here. Newly created folders will appear here. take multiple photos and create a time lapse movie with specified settings (see page 25).

22 Type your folder name here. When you are finished, select Done (see page 21).

23 The image from the camera will appear here. go back to the first screen (see page 21). change the camera from front to back or from back to front. take a photo.

24 The current number of folders on the ipod will be shown here. go back to the first screen (see page 21). delete the pictures saved with this app and then go back to the first screen (see page 21).

25 Select these to change how long to take pictures for, how long to wait before taking pictures, how often to take pictures, and the number of photos per second in the time lapse movie (see page 26). go back to the first screen (see page 21). Select these to change to seconds, minutes, or hours. The number of pictures to be taken, total time of shooting, and the length of the time lapse movie to be created will be shown at these three locations. take apply your settings and activate the camera (see page 27).
