5 BLISTER PACK Blister Packs were produced for mass merchandisers. They wanted a package that was easy to display but not easy to pilfer (over sized so it is hard to put in a pocket). These cards are 4" wide and 6" high and have been reduced in size for ease in cataloging. LR-1.22 LONG RIFLE (HIGH VELOCITY). "BLAZER". Blister Pack. Black card with silver, red, white and black printing. Part No on the card with BLAZER box 0022 (CCI-7-LR-4). Variations noted: (a) Card with "A" back. (b) Card with "B" back. LR-2.22 LONG RIFLE (HIGH VELOCITY). "BLAZER" Blister Pack. Same as LR-1 except box (CCI-7-LR-5. "B" back. LR-3.22 LONG RIFLE (HIGH VELOCITY). "STINGER" Blister Pack. Part No on the ends. "C-10" h/s on a brass case with a copper-plated bullet. Variations noted: (a) "A" bottom. (b) "B" bottom. LR-7.22 LONG RIFLE (HIGH VELOCITY). "MINI-MAG AMMO CAN". An olive drab plastic box with a hinged lid. A camouflage and white label with a red logo. Yellow, black and white printing. Label is secured to the box with plastic shrink wrap. Part No "C-10" h/s on a brass case with a copper-plated bullet. Introduced in 1988 for distribution by mass merchandisers. Variations noted: (a) "OD" can. (b) White can w/o "CCI" on the end. They did this because lubricant was transferring for one cartridge to another in the bulk packs. The now used the 100 round plastic inserts from the plastic boxes.
