5 LED Infra-Red Tube Lighting LED Lighting Overview LED tubes are cutting edge products in the lighting industry and are considered to be a revolutionary replacement for traditional fluorescent tubes. The product comprises of multiple LED chip modules which consume 50% less energy and last ten times longer than conventional T5 fluroescent tubes. In addition to this the installation of LED fluroescent tubes can be carried out with minimal modification to any original fluroescent tube fittings. Infra-Red LED Tube - Automatic Dimming Tortech Lighting has released a new Infra-red LED tube light for underground parking, warehouse, station and gallery applications. The operation of this light is based on an infra-red sensor which is built-in to one end of the LED tube. The sensor has a effective range of 120 degrees which will detetct movement within a 5-10 meter radius of the light. When movement by a user is detected, the sensor activates a dimmer which increases the light capacity from 20% to 100%. This product has the potencial to save 60-70% in energy usage costs and lasts 10 times longer than conventional fluorescent tubes.
