Exact repeat orders or orders requiring only type setting may be faxed. To avoid verbal errors, phone orders will not be accepted. PAYMENT TERMS: Payment in advance is required on all orders by money order, credit card, ACH or cashier s check unless prior credit arrangements have been made. New orders will not be processed until full payment including freight cost, is received. It has been a long-term policy that U.S. Poly cannot ship collect or on Third party accounts until terms have been established. Please call for freight quotes. Credit terms are net 30, with approved credit. Orders received from companies with past due accounts will not be processed until the account is current. Less than minimum orders on one color imprinted items are accepted for an additional $25.00 (V) per screen used. At least one case must be ordered. Any necessary special pack charges will apply. Special pack charge is $5.00 (V) for each case not shipped full. RUSH ORDERS: Rush orders are accepted if production schedule allows. We will inform you upon receipt of your order if we are unable to meet your ship date. PRE-PRODUCTION SAMPLES: One color imprinted sample charges will include a $40.00 (w) screen charge, a $25.00 (U) set-up charge, plus the unit cost of the item. Multi-color imprinted sample charges will include a $40.00 (w) screen charge per imprint color, a $60.00 (V) set-up charge, plus the unit cost of the item. Regular production time applies. OVER/UNDER RUNS: Factory reserves the right to over or under ship by 5%. Over runs will be invoiced. Special pack charges will not apply if due to over or under runs. POST PRODUCTION SAMPLES: Item and shipping costs will be invoiced for samples sent to the distributor on completed orders. These must be requested on order. COMPLAINTS: Product or imprint complaints must be made within five working days from receipt of product. The merchandise must be kept available for return to manufacturer. DAMAGED MERCHANDISE: Recipient should check all packages for damages before signing the receiving record. If a package arrives in a damaged condition, you may wish to refuse the shipment. If circumstances do not allow you to do this, note that the package was damaged when you sign for the merchandise immediately so that we can report it to the carrier for inspection. If these steps are not followed, we will be unable to file a claim and unable to issue credit. RETURNS: All returns must have a return authorization number assigned by the factory. Shipments returned without written authorization from the factory will be refused. RE-ORDERS: When placing an exact re-order, reference your previous purchase order number and date. 26 ARTWORK & IMPRINTING INFORMATION SCREEN PRINT ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS: Art must be submitted in a black and white vector format via to polyart@uspolyinc.com, CD, or DVD. Electronic art is preferred. We can accept PC versions of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop or Corel Draw. Illustrator.ai or.eps files are the preferred format. Some.pdf files can be used. If at all possible do not send.jpeg,.gif, or bitmap images due to low quality issues. Pixilated art will most likely need to be revised by the art department. Please call for an estimate. NOTE: All fonts need to be converted to outlines (curves) before sending files. A clean black and white copy may be sent directly to the factory, sized slightly larger than the imprint size. Photocopies and faxes are not acceptable forms of art. All lines that make up a logo or type must be at least one point line thickness. All text must be at least ten point type. We suggest a minimum of two point line space between any lines or open areas to prevent spaces from closing. Half-tones are not recommended and must be approved by the factory. All multiple color artwork must be color separat ed with registration marks and include a composite color print of the artwork. Art charges will apply for any art revision necessary to bring art to specifications. The quality of the art submitted could affect your production time. MULTI-COLOR IMPRINTS: Mis-registration of up to 1/16 may occur in any direction. Multiple color imprints are only available on the C200, C600 and C650. Item C200 can be printed with up to 2 colors on one side. Items C600 and C650 can be printed with up to 3 colors on one or two sides. Additional charges will apply. IMPRINT AREA: Maximum imprint area is noted for each individual item. Factory will produce one color imprints on two sides for no additional charge on some products. Orders not specifying a two-sided or wrap around design will be produced as the factory feels is appropriate. Art not marked size 100% will be sized as the factory feels is appropriate. ART CHARGES: Art charges are assessed according to time, difficulty, and the amount of materials used at the rate of $40.00 (V) per hour (half hour minimum). Factory will notify distributor of amount. If art does not meet our specification, art charges will apply. TYPE SETTING: All type should be provided camera ready. Art charges will apply if the factory must set type. PAPER PROOFS: ed or paper proofs are provided on all orders at no charge. Delays in approval could delay ship date, so watch for your paper proof. It will be sent with in five working days from receipt of you order. SUBLIMATION: Sublimation uses a four color printing process that is transfered onto the product with heat. This process produces a 100% to 400% dot gain, which may fill in the reversed areas, or knocked out art, or eliminate it completely. For this reason, we recommend all reversed text be set to bold. Serif fonts should be at least 18 point and sans serif fonts should be at least 12 point. All reversed lines should be at least 2 point. Image resolution should be 300 dpi or greater and 100% size or larger than imprint size. Sublimation is permanent and washable. Your art can be setup in RGB or CMYK color mode. If there are any PMS colors you wish us to try to match, please check with factory before placing the order. Be aware that many PMS colors can t be matched with perfect accuracy using four color process printing. Sublimation is designed to produce a pleasing representation of the original. Any time color is critical, we recommend a pre-production sample. IMPRINT COLORS: A list of our stock ink colors, and their closest PMS match numbers, are located at the bottom of page 22. Please order by ink name, not by PMS number. PMS COLOR MATCHES: Factory will make every effort to closely match any PMS ink color, although an exact match cannot be guaranteed. PMS matches are $30.00 (V) per color, and will apply to each repeat order. INK CHANGE CHARGE: $20.00 (P) SCREEN CHARGE: See individual item. Note that different items with the same design require different screens. Puff, regular, and metallic inks each require different types of screens. Screens are stored by the factory for one year from the last use date. Exact reorder, including co-op programs, will be charged $12.50 (V) per color after 1 year.
