2 Retail Market Lighting The lighting of a store affects how we relate to it, even at the first step we take into it. To provide a better visual experience, essentially balanced lighting is required. This normally means a higher level of illumination on perpendicular planes for lighting designers. Like all other various design elements, light is an excellent tool to be used in brand communication messages. In time, the illumination choices that are made in regards to the solutions designed specifically to serve a certain purpose become a complementary part of the firm s identity. Additionally, illumination eliminates some limitations from the beginning, stretches the time the customers spend in the store and supports the consumer behaviors positively.
