But wait! Before you do, you might want to know more about what PhotoScope Blooms are. PhotoScope Blooms are original photographs taken by us and altered to accentuate already occurring lines and designs found in nature. They are a mix, or mashup, if you will, of grayscale images and nature s own line art. A FRESH design variation! These easy-to-color images are the perfect way to have fun and unwind from the chaos of daily life. It s amazing how an activity as simple as coloring can be so soothing and inspiring. You might not know how to color them or you may even think they aren t real coloring. We assure you that grayscale coloring is a real coloring style that is very popular and even somewhat addictive! After we learned more about it and started experimenting with coloring them, our attitude changed and we were hooked. You will be too, once you try them!

5 Grayscale Coloring TIP: A very simple and common way to begin coloring any grayscale image is to allow the shaded and highlighted parts of the image to guide you. Use dark colors for dark shaded areas and light colors for lighter highlighted areas, filling in and blending with medium colors. Our blooms are especially fun and easy to color due to the way they were modified. Since they are no longer normal photographs, there s a little more room for creativity. Just let the lines and curves on each bloom drive your imagination to fill them in. Alternative Coloring TIP: One method we ve discovered we like is doodle-coloring. With this method you simply just fill in all the areas with colored doodles--doodle anything you want!
