It also adorns big heritage motifs placed throughout the saree and traditional striped patterns on the pallu, some including a line of bhuttis, kalamkari patterns and contemporary waves.

4 Using a subtle colour palette like coral green and peach, this palette seems unusual for a Kanchivaram or Corporate wear. The body is embossed with tiny thread peach bhuttas on a green body whereas the border is grey with peach bhuttas. The pallu is definitely a show stealer, you can let it loose or pleat it up based on your mood.

8 This saree has a zig-zag hexagon pattern in beige, light blue and purple. Maintaining a bold blue body throughout, just as multiple business suits do, this saree means nothing but business. We haven t used any bhuttas to give the saree an official feel.

9 Beige is seen as a corporate colour, and we ve used that to our advantage with this saree. Maintaining its simplicity throughout, it has a large border with geometric patterns strewn on it. There are spirals and triangular bhuttas woven in coral green. The pallu consists of rich zari which can be pleated up to shimmer your way through your office with poise.

We ve steered clear of the standard bhutta work that most working sarees have. The bhuttas though seemingly small, promises a good design visibility. The smartest feature of the saree is the pallu, it is rich with zari, but it can be pinned up in pleats at work and let down for an evening that follows.

The bhuttas on the saree are done in an intricate candy pink silk threadwork.
