Made of molded PVC and other materials that make them gripy (nonslip) and soft (comfy) they are then injected with air to create bubbles which make the sandals sturdy, durable and unbelievably comfortable. Grandco has been in business since 1980, and the factory has basically perfected them during this time. They sell almost 1 million pairs a year, and their return rate is less than 1%. The sandals have minimal give to them, so that is why they are so soft & comfortable, but they are also hard enough to have enough support for the feet. The factory has taken a lot of time and trial and error to make the right density, because if they are TOO soft, they will eventually collapse, and not support the feet well.
