Since products carried are from many manufacturers, prices and product specifications are subject to change without notice. Product information and prices are continually updated on our website. Mouldings and many products also have photos and descriptions posted on our website TO OPEN AN ACCOUNT To set up an account to purchase from, fill out and sign the New Account Information Sheet- Short Form if you will pay by cash, check, or bank card. Sales tax will be charged in the state of Ohio unless you submit a signed Blanket Certificate of Exemption for our files. To shop online, sign in and set up your own password-protected online account on our website. PAYMENT TERMS Payment in advance, COD, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover / Novus are accepted. UPS COD orders will be sent out certified check or money order until check approval from the New Account Information Sheet. (UPS no longer accepts cash on COD orders. You can always save the UPS COD charge per package by paying with a bank card.) TO APPLY FOR CREDIT TERMS Businesses can apply for credit terms by completing and signing the New Account Information Sheet (long form). Include three supplier references with which you currently have open credit, plus your bank reference. Allow 3-4 weeks for processing. If you are a new company or have only COD suppliers, you may apply for trial credit by filling out the New Company / Trial Credit form, along with the New Account Information Sheet (long form). Until credit approval, orders can be prepaid, paid by bank card, or sent COD. Credit terms are net 15 days after credit is approved. A monthly finance charge of 1 ½% will be charged on all balances past 30 days. Accounts past 60 days will be sent COD. An additional payment on account or arrangement to bring the past due balance to current status may be required for new orders to be shipped. A $30.00 NSF fee will be charged on any returned checks, and the account may be placed on a cash, certified check, money order, or bank card only basis. Equipment, special order items,and custom framing orders must be prepaid or paid by bank card. ORDERING INFORMATION No minimum order, except on UPS full sheet mat board orders (see Mat Board Table of Contents). Order by catalog order number, size or description, and quantity. Be sure to double check your quantities, order numbers, and sizes before ordering,and listen carefully as your order is read back to you. After this verification, it will be considered correct and a firm order, and will be sent to the warehouse immediately to be filled. 4 GENERAL INFORMATION SHIPPING INFORMATION Orders can be picked up at, delivered by van on s local delivery routes, and shipped by UPS, delivery service courier, or truck. Prices are FOB Westlake, Ohio: if applicable, freight charges will be added to your invoice. Van Delivery is free for orders over $250 on s scheduled local delivery routes. Invoices under $250 will have a delivery fee added, or will be sent out UPS with freight charges added, at our discretion. Call for the local van delivery schedule and rates in your area. Special Same-Day or Next-Day Delivery by courier is available if you need a rush order delivered on an unscheduled day, or if you are not on our scheduled routes. Call for delivery service rates to your location. UPS weight limit per package is 150 pounds, size limit is 130 in length and girth combined, and maximum length is 108. UPS no longer accepts cash on COD shipments- only money orders or certified checks. If your account is COD, you can save the UPS COD charge per package by paying with a bank card (American Express, Visa, MC, Discover / Novus). Request special UPS options, including 3-Day Select, Second Day Air, and Next Day Air when placing your order. Give us your address to automatically receive shipping and package tracking information- Quantum Notify Service- free from UPS. Air shipments must be prepaid by bank card. Truck shipments may be sent freight collect. DAMAGE CLAIMS The carrier is responsible for damage in shipment. Any damage by UPS or truck line must be noted in writing when the shipment is signed for and accepted. Save the cartons and damaged merchandise for pickup and inspection after a claim is filed. We will assist you in filing UPS claims. In case of truck damage, you must call the trucking company directly to file a claim. We recommend that all packages be opened and inspected the day of receipt to facilitate any claims. RETURNS If we make a mistake we will promptly replace the item and issue a pickup for the original item for credit. Call and give us the invoice number and the date purchased. A return authorization number will be issued. Merchandise purchased within 30 days is eligible to be returned for credit. No returns on chops, joins, cut items, cut moulding lengths, altered merchandise, or special order items unless due to shipping error or defects. See the ordering information page at the front of each catalog section for more specific information. Returns not due to error or defects are subject to management discretion. Your account will be credited (no cash refunds) for accepted merchandise returns, less a 20% restocking fee and less original and return freight. Returns must be fit for resale, in good condition and in original packaging. BACKORDERS We will attempt to call you if an item is out of stock before shipping your order. If you have a different daytime phone number, please tell us when your order is placed so we can contact you with any questions. If you request that an item be backordered, you will be called when the item is back in stock, for your authorization to either ship or cancel the backorder. DISCONTINUED ITEMS Any item not listed in our latest price list has been discontinued. Notice of discontinued items is given in newsletters, catalog updates, and on our web site at Discontinued wood corner samples that were purchased from will be replaced free of charge. Call us with the number of discontinued samples that you need to have replaced. Order by prefix and mat number. Bainbridge prefix is B. Crescent prefix is C. Crescent uses a 6 prefix for black core, an 8 for 40x60,and an SRM for nonconservation white core. Oversize 40x60 mats are designated by an -L. Please specify if oversize. (Oversized mats can t be shipped UPS.) Duplicate Numbers: Some numbers are used by more than one company for different mat boards. Specify B, or C and give the color and / or type of mat for these items, to ensure that you receive the one you want. Mats, foam boards, graphic art boards and accessories not listed, plus mats listed as special order and not in stock, can be special-ordered for you in full packs. Refer to price list, website, or call us for current pricing and minimum pack quantities. Allow 1-2 weeks lead time for special order items. SHIPPING INFORMATION Mat boards can be picked up at,delivered by van on our Cleveland area delivery route (call for area schedule and minimums), shipped by UPS (32x40 maximum size) or sent by truck. Truck shipments will be sent freight collect. UPS MAT BOARD SHIPMENTS In-stock orders called in by noon will be shipped UPS the same day. Order 25+ sheets of assorted boards to receive quantity pricing! The largest mat board or foam board that can be shipped UPS is 32x40, due to UPS size limits. UPS oversize 2 and additional handling rates apply to boxes of 32x40 full sheets. C.O.D. accounts can pay by bankcard (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover / Novus) to save the UPS C.O.D. charges. A packaging charge of $3.50 per box will be added for UPS or truck shipments. UPS box sizes are 15 or 25 sheets for single thick mat boards, and 5 or 25 sheets for 3/16 foam board. If fewer than 15 mats are ordered for UPS, please specify what to fill the box with-foam board, mounting board, etc. If you only need a few mats sent UPS, 5 foam boards can fill the rest of the small size box. Boxes must be full to minimize shipping damage. Mats can also be custom cut, with or without openings, if you don t need as many mats or the full sheet size. This may save on freight, depending on your package size. Refer to the Custom Mat Cutting prices on pages 22-26, for the united inch prices used for cut mats and mount boards. DAMAGE CLAIMS Mat board sent UPS is double-boxed when possible to minimize UPS damage. UPS will not honor claims for slight corner damage, since the rest of the board is usable. If mats are damaged beyond use, refuse the shipment and call us; we will file a UPS claim and reship the order. If you accept the order, any damage by UPS or truck must be noted in writing when the shipment is signed for and accepted, and you must call the carrier to file a claim. Placing Orders: If you are not using the Eclipse Create software design program, please place Custom Mat orders in writing, by fax or . Custom Designs: If you have a special shape, design or logo you would like to be cut as clip art, we can have it converted into CAD to be cut for you. The one-time special design fee is $60 per hour with a one hour minimum, payable by bank card (MC, VISA, AX, Discover/ Novus) when the design is completed.
