Pair of 3.25mm (US 3) needles. 5 buttons approx 15mm/5/8in diameter. 35cm/13 ¾ in by 35cm/13 ¾in cushion pad. NOTE When working from Chart odd numbered rows are k rows and read from right to left. Even numbered rows are p rows and read from left to right. Use the Fair Isle method, strand the yarn not in use across the wrong side of work weaving them under and over the working yarn every 3 or 4 sts. Try putting the balls of yarn into separate plastic containers or yarn bowls to minimize them rolling and becoming tangled. Remember that the 2 different yarns at a change of colour will need to be twisted to avoid a hole in your work.
