2 All Seams a precise 1/4 The construction of this block uses my Sew-N-Slash process. The strips are longer than their finished size. This gives you the opportunity to trim them to perfection so the points all come together in perfect pieced harmony. When sewing strips, always remember to sew them in opposite directions. This will reduce the natural curvature of the fabrics. 3 All Seams a precise 1/4 The construction of this block uses my Sew-N-Slash process. The strips are longer than their finished size. This gives you the opportunity to trim them to perfection so the points all come together in perfect pieced harmony. Now the Sew-n-Slash Fun Begins! 2 Cutting Lines Before Sewing a Seam...Pin together, on the long axis, the Red/Green Striped triangle to the / strips (right sides together), making sure you are centering the triangle on the strips and that the long edge of the longest strip/cookies for Santa Natural is lined up even with the long edge of the Red/Green Striped triangle. Using the Red/Green Striped triangle as your guide, trim the /Cookies for Santa Natural strips on each side of the Orange triangle (where you see the White dashed lines on the illustration). Now, discard the excess fabric and remove the pins from the long axis and place them on the RIGHT side of the Red/Green Striped triangle. Repeat for the remainder of the blocks. Cutting Lines
