5 Superior Stitching The Q nique 21 features a powerful motor, delivering up to 1,800 stitches- per-minute. It also includes a built-in stitch regulation (a high-end feature normally found only on more expensive long-arm quilting machines.) The Q nique 21 has been precisely encoded for a beautiful, consistent stitch. Stitch regulation is available on three of the four different stitch modes to give you maximum control over your quilting. High-Resolution Encoders 1,800 Stitches Per Minute The Q nique 21 features a powerful motor, delivering a smooth stitching experience with a top speed of 1,800 stitches-perminute. High-resolution encoders precisely track the machine s movement and tell the motor how fast or slow to stitch. 4

6 Precise Mode: In precise mode, you control the stitch per inch (SPI) setting for consistently sized stitches. Stitch regulation adjusts the stitch speed as you quilt faster or slower. Precise Mode stops stitching when you stop moving the machine. Cruise Mode: In cruise mode, you set the SPI as well as a minimum stitch speed. Regulation adjusts to keep stitches consistent, but whenever you stop or slow your movements, the machine will continue to stitch at the minimum set speed. Manual Mode: The Manual stitch mode lets you control the stitch speed of the quilting machine. With the buttons on the handle bars, you can increase or decrease the constant speed. This is great for detailed or intricate stitching. Baste Mode: Baste mode is perfect for when you want to do some long basting stitches on the edges of your quilt. You can set the basting stitch length to short, medium or long.

The handles can also be rotated down to a "micro-handle" position for precise control over fine stitching and stippling. The handles have been designed with a comfort grip, following the contours and curves of your hand. 11 Positionable Hopping Foot Never-Before Seen Features The Q'nique 21 introduces some innovative new features to the quilting industry. The Grace Company has been listening to what quilters have to say about quilting and their desired features. Every aspect of the Q'nique 21 has been carefully designed to add convenience and heighten the quality of the machine, of the stitch, and of the entire quilting experience. The patented hopping foot of the Q'nique 21 can be positioned for optimum visibility of the needle. Easily switch the hopping foot to either the side or the back of the needle according to your preference. 8

12 Automatic Bobbin Winder The Grace Q nique machines features a topof-the-line bobbin system, including a large M-class bobbin that is larger than standard domestic sewing machine bobbins, allowing you to quilt longer before having to refill it. A high-speed automatic bobbin winder is built right into the machine. This makes refilling the bobbin a breeze! Just use the thread from one of the thread towers. 14 Laser Stylus The Q nique Laser Stylus is the easiest way to trace patterns or pantographs while quilting on a machine quilting frame. Just attach the laser stylus to the Q nique 21, and position it to trace the desired pattern! The laser can be attached to the front or rear handles, or even on the bottom of the machine, using the included adapter between the wheels. Rear Handles Double the ways you can quilt with your Q nique 21 by adding rear handles! The stylus attaches right to your carriage and then guides your machine through the pattern templates as you move the carriage. Each basic set template is double-sided and has eight patterns. The Basic Plastic Pattern Perfect Set comes with the stylus and all hardware needed to use the basic set or additional templates. Quilt Clips are purchased in either 1½ inch or 2 inch diameters, so you can get the set that will best fit your frame. 25 Bobbins, Bobbin Case, Needles Extra bobbins, bobbin case, and needles are a necessity when quilting. You do not want to be caught without a spare of any of these should you damage, misplace, or simply need more on hand for quick change-outs. Many professionals recommend having 10 or more bobbins and varying grade needles on hand at any time. Of course not as many bobbin cases are needed, but 3 to 6 is a preferred minimum. Thread Cutter The TrueTrim is the easiest way to add thread cutting capability to any sewing machine! Just attach the adhesive mount, and then use the TrueTrim both on and off the machine! It quickly slides on or off the sewing machine mount for easy on-quilt thread cutting. The blade also rotates 360 for an unlimited cutting surface. Start-Right Cloth Leaders A time-saving product to help you attach your fabric to your frame easily, and accurately. Includes three king-size cloth leaders printed with precise guide marks and pin lines. It works great with our Fabri- Fast system, but also includes a Velcro attachment kit that can be used to secure the cloth leaders to your frame. Choose the size that s best for your frame. 136 is great for a king-size frame with the extra 2 foot extension. The 112 cloth leader is good for the normal king-size frame or smaller. If you have a crib size frame, you may need to get a 112 size and then cut it down. 22
