Read the following:- O R D E R:- 1. G.O.Rt. 718, PR&RD (Progs.II) Department, dt From the CE, PR, Hyd. Lr. AEE-III/DEE-II/ NABARD RIDF-BRIDGES /2015, Dt: <<<>>> The Chief Engineer, Panchayat Raj, Hyderabad in his letter in the reference 2 nd read above has stated that Govt. have sanctioned 229 bridge works under NABARD RIDF XXI with an estimated cost of Rs crores vide reference 1 st read above. He has also stated that during the review meeting the Hon ble Minister, PR & IT has expressed that Hon ble Chief Minister desires to have bridge cum Check dams where ever Bridges are sanctioned and to be constructed. Accordingly, the feasible sites for construction of Bridge cum check dams are identified and the proposals are received from the Superintending Engineers. Out of (229) sanctioned bridges (73) bridges are identified as feasible for construction of Bridge cum Check dams which requires an additional of Rs Crores. 2. Government after careful examination of the proposal, hereby accord permission for (73) bridges for construction of Bridge cum Check dams. The additional commitment shall be met from I & CAD Department. He is also permitted to proceed with design, estimate in consultation with I & CAD Department and tendering for bridge cum check dams with in the original sanctioned to utilize in the working season. The list of (73) Bridge-cum-Check dams are appended to this order as Annexure-I. 3. The Chief Engineer, Panchayat Raj, Hyderabad shall take necessary action accordingly. 4.
