Mainly the application of laser systems enables us to produce smooth surfaces in conjunction with low friction, high holding forces and physically acceptable proce dures. Minimal inventional procedures are therefore possible with the stone baskets, grippers and Lunderquist wires. The stiffness of the guide wires can be influenced by a flexible core wire. According to the situation the core wire can be pulled out and even the most difficult situations can be managed. The PTFE-layer of the core wire reduces friction to a minimum.
