7 Global Perspective New York Singapore Houston A privately held company founded in 1972 as McQuilling Brokerage, the New York office serves as the corporate headquarters for this group. In 2010, the company s name was changed to to reflect the expansion of our global presence and over 160 employees worldwide. This office is home to both spot and term chartering for crude, residual and refined products. Sale and purchase, post fixture operations, tanker freight derivatives (FFA) brokerage and financial services solutions are also centered in this location. McQuilling Services, LLC, our research and marine transportation consultancy subsidiary is based in New York and services our global clientele. Established in 2004 as McQuilling Brokerage Partners Asia Pte. Ltd. in a joint venture with Pacific Link, this office has grown rapidly to serve the expanding Pacific Rim market. Singapore serves as the headquarters for the company s bulk chemicals/vegoil tanker brokerage activity. Additional services include spot and term chartering for crude oil, residual and refined products as well as sale and purchase brokerage. In 2010, McQuilling Energy opened to provide brokerage services in the energy and commodity derivatives markets. In 2012, McQuilling established McQuilling Dry which provides comprehensive marine expertise and vessel brokerage in the dry bulk commodities markets. Also in 2012, McQuilling Services extended its presence here. Houston is the oil and petrochemical center of the United States. McQuilling recognized this and in 2003, opened an office in this location. Primary responsibility is to the chartering markets within the Americas. Real-time communications between our New York, Houston and South American offices ensures that our clients consistently receive the full benefits of the teamwork philosophy that McQuilling espouses. 8 Global Perspective Caracas/Lima Mexico City Athens McQuilling has a long history of involvement with oil and gas transportation from, and within, Venezuela. Our Caracas office was inaugurated in 2005 to further our focus here. In 2007, the Lima office was established to serve as the primary headquarters for all of our Latin American activity. In these locations, our personnel have strong relationships with local charterers and owners with the ability to provide solutions and support for various maritime transportation and logistics scenarios. Launched in 2008, McQuilling de Mexico was established with a concentration on the projects market. Long term charter requirements, offshore marine, maritime and logistic consulting services have provided us with the opportunity successfully participate in this growing market with the full range of services that McQuilling offers. Late in 2011, McQuilling Drilling and Production was formed. McQuilling Hellas opened its doors in March 2011 as a joint venture partnership with a concentration in the chemical, edible oil and small tanker markets for both spot and term charter. Sale and purchase transactions are also conducted from here. Our personnel have extensive local and European experience in these markets. In conjunction with the company s global networking capability, our brokers provide premium services from this strategic location. Regional Focus 8

9 Global Perspective Brazil Mumbai/New Delhi Dubai McQuilling has been active in Brazil for nearly three decades, securing tonnage for the chartering requirements of Petrobras. Since 1998, we have continued to increase our business activities in the region, expanding our involvement in sale and purchase transactions for conversion requirements and providing commercial advisory services across shipping sectors and project opportunities. The opening of McQuilling Brasil in 2012, to better serve McQuilling s expanding client base in the region, marks the beginning of the next stage of our dedication and focus to this increasingly important market. In 2014, established McQuilling Shipping Services India PVT Ltd to provide a regional presence in one of the world s fastest growing energy consuming countries. Realizing a long standing vision, McQuilling Shipping Services DMCC opened in May 2012 offering brokerage services to our clients in the Middle East and Indian sub-continent from this burgeoning maritime center. Sectors that are covered include crude oil, clean petroleum products, chemicals, dry bulk and sale and purchase. Strategically located between important time zones of the East and West, our team provides brokerage and commercial/technical advisory from this office. Regional Focus 9

10 SERVICES PROVIDED Chartering The Chartering Group represents an extensive collection of experience and international backgrounds. On average, our brokers have well over ten years of commercial experience and many over twenty. We regularly communicate with about 70 charterers worldwide and are closely aligned with US and international tanker owners. Areas of expertise include: Spot and period chartering Crude and residual fuels transport Clean petroleum products transport Offshore services Dry bulk transport Chemicals transport Commodities 10

11 SERVICES PROVIDED Freight Forward Agreements Through our joint venture with ACM/GFI in 2005, we actively participate in the wet tanker derivatives market (FFAs) in order to provide shipping companies, charterers and derivatives traders a single point of access for all of their financing, chartering and risk management requirements. GFI/McQuilling provides FFA brokerage services for more than 100 clients worldwide. These clients are served from dedicated derivatives desks in London, New York and Singapore where experienced brokers provide round-the-clock coverage for the world s leading oil and shipping companies. 11

12 SERVICES PROVIDED Sale and Purchase The Sale and Purchase Group offers expertise across a broad range of areas including: Sale and purchase of secondhand marine assets Vessel new construction contracting Merger and acquisition of marine organizations and/or assets across all marine sectors Demolition sales We have relationships in a multitude of shipbuilding centers around the world for the development of newbuilding projects in the shipping sector. 12

13 SERVICES PROVIDED Operations & Administration Experienced McQuilling operations and support staff are involved in all aspects of voyage execution and post-contract activities. Our proprietary information technology system allows for the creation and maintenance of virtual voyage files, which allows our operations personnel to provide clients 24/7 support. We also provide demurrage claims management as a part of our comprehensive post-fixture support for clients. Our aim is to assist in the presentation and settlement of claims in a timely manner, keeping in mind applicable time bars and key dates. 13

Our primary focus is to provide our clients commercial consulting services related to global seaborne transportation. 15 SERVICES PROVIDED Information Technology In 2015, McQuilling Partners centralized information technology activities through the hiring of a Chief Technology Officer, enabling the company to expand its data processing capabilities, enhance systems integration across the global network of offices and reduce disruption risks. In 2018, McQuilling along with a joint-venture partner, will introduce ATLIS, an online data platform providing clients a new level of marine transportation and decisions support services through McQuilling s integrated commercial and logistics market intelligence, supported by robust remotely-sensed vessel position data. 15

Headquartered in our Mexico City office, the company focuses on opportunities in Mexico and other oil rich regions in South America. 17

19 Current Projects Brasil Basin Drydock Company In 2011, McQuilling conducted a feasibility analysis on the need for a major ship repair facility in the South Atlantic Basin (Brazil) Since then, McQuilling has achieved major milestones in making the yard a reality including securing debt financing of US $570 million and receiving the environmental permits for the facility 19
