Governor Bruce Rauner of Illinois, Deputy Mayor Robert Rivkin of Chicago, and more than 600 guests attended the reception. Mr. HONG Lei said that since the founding of PRC, especially the reform and opening in 1978, China has become the second largest economy in the world, the Chinese nation has achieved the great economic progress, and China has transformed from an impoverished nation to a better-off society.

This is the first direct line to New York from central and western China. This is also another direct non-stop line to North Americas since Hainan Airlines line opening of Sichuan-Chongqing region to Los Angeles. Hainan will fly the Boeing luxury wide-body passenger planes to serve the new lines and is scheduled to have 2 flights per week. The ground handling and catering services of these new lines are provided by Swissport and Gategroup, Hainan Airlines Group's overseas partners. ZTE recently held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony with Jingdong.com, Inc. and signed a new cooperation agreement. 5 Chairman Guanqiu Lu, founder of Wanxiang Group, a successful Chinese multinational automotive component manufacturing company, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at the age of 72. CGCC Chicago members and the staff expressed their deepest condolence to the loss of Chairman Lu. Our hearts and prayers are with his family and his loved ones. He will be remembered for his courage, spirit, leadership, contribution to the China-US business ties and his life-time dedication to the economic development of China. CGCC Chicago October 27, 2017
