We don t understand why the women or men we work with communicate, solve problems, make decision and deal with stress the way they do. Women and men may see the same things, but they do so through a completely different set of lenses, very often thinking and talking past each other - and often not knowing it. The HBA s 3BC community is offering this summit so we can explore this territory and reveal the real opportunities that come from gender partnership for both men and women. There s a path to advancing women that has everyone winning - and men have a critical role to play. The goals of the summit will be to: Define what men, women and the company gain when men become allies for women Provide each gender with the opportunity to hear the other s perspective and deepen the understanding of what it takes for each to lead Explore the steps that companies can take to engage men as advocates for leveling the playing field and encourage the men in attendance to step up as women s allies.
