2 Meeting with International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ICIE) held on June 15, 2016 in MOSCOW, Russia President of ICIE invited BRICS CCI delegates for a meeting in the office of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ICIE). Mr. Pshenichnikov Vyacheslav (Vice President, ICIE), Mr. Brizgalin Andrei (Deputy Vice President, ICIE), Mr. Igor Rumyantsev (Advisor, ICIE) and Alok Kumar (Director, Asia Pacific, ICIE and hon ble representative, BRICS CCI) joined the meeting with BRICS CCI delegates and discussed joint co-operation with BRICS CCI in the fields of technology transfer, innovations, pharmacy, IT & infrastructure development. It was decided that a joint committee will be set up which will explore other sectors for cooperation and represent the countries in different international platforms. ICIE brings together national business unions of the Commonwealth of Independent States- a number of countries in Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, and The Baltic States- and is officially accredited at some international and inter-governmental organizations including the United Nations system. Development of multilateral business relations and elaboration of common approaches to solving the problems of international economic relations of the countries belonging to different geopolitical entities is a priority for the ICIE. They aim to promote integration processes in the Eurasian subcontinent. The management of the ICIE attaches special significance to the organization and development of cooperation with the business community in China.

3 Visit to Russian Parliament Held on June 15, 2016 in Moscow, Russia Mr. B.R. Saini, President BRICS CCI, Dr. B.B.L. Madhukar, Secretary General, BRICS CCI, Dr. Rameshwar Singh (Founder and President,Russian Indian Culture Society), Ms. Disha, Mr. Shutov Alexander (Head, Yaroslav CCI and Vice President, Akis Tech Ltd.) and Mr. Alok Kumar (Chairman, Akis tech and hon ble representative, BRICS CCI) were invited for a tour of the Russian Parliament on June 15,2016. Following the tour, the delegates attended a meeting with Russian Members of Parliament headed by Mr Sukharev Ivan where discussions regarding the joint exploration of bilateral relations between the two countries took place. It was agreed upon to organise a Russian youth football match. The delegates also visited India Week pavilion in the State Duma for India Week Festival ceremonies in the Russian Parliament.

5 Yaroslavl region intends to cooperate with Indian companies in the field of innovative medicine One of the promising areas of cooperation of the Yaroslavl region and India is the innovative pharmaceutical industry and medicine. This regional government said after a meeting with a delegation of Indian businessmen. In the framework of the VII BRICS summit in July 2015, Vladimir Putin stated the necessity of deepening of Russian-Indian relations and strengthening bilateral ties, - said the deputy chairman of the Yaroslavl region, Mikhail Krupin government. - In accordance with the regional government and the city administration of Yaroslavl embarked on expanding the range of cooperation between our countries. 8 Hyderabad to host BRICS working group meet next month Hyderabad: A meeting of the working group of BRICS countries on employment generation and other issues would be held in Hyderabad on July 27 and 28, Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya said here on Thursday. The meeting of the working group is preparatory for a BRICS meet to be held in Delhi, he said. Dattatreya, who recently attended the International Labour Conference in Geneva, said the focus of the Union Government and other countries is on employment generation. "The initiatives of the NDA government to spur growth are helping in generating employment. The Narendra Modi government favoured an inclusive growth," he said. The Labour Ministry would set up 100 model career centres in the country in partnership with the public and private sector, he said. A modern employment exchange would be opened in Hyderabad in the third week of July, he said adding, job seekers and employers, who have registered on the National Career Service (NCS) portal of the Labour Ministry, would be brought on to a single platform on the occasion. The state governments would be asked to come on board the NCS portal and a system to provide jobs to lakhs of job seekers, Dattatreya said.

9 Russian-Indian Summit on October 15 to Coincide With BRICS Summit A Russian-Indian summit is scheduled to take place on October 15 in Goa, the same day as the 2016 BRICS summit, Indian Ambassador to Russia Pankaj Saran told Sputnik. T. PETERSBURG (Sputnik) According to Saran, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi are expected to meet at the Russian-Indian summit. The 8th BRICS Summit will be held after the meeting of the Russian and Indian leaders on October BRICS is an association of five developing economies Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa which comprise over one third of the world s population. The five nations have a combined nominal GDP equivalent to approximately 20 percent of gross world product.

10 BRICS sign agreement on telemedicine at Yugra Members of the BRICS international IT Forum have established a telemedicine community in Khanty-Mansiysk. This group has set itself the task of creating inter-operable telemedicine systems in BRICS countries. The Telemedicine Community set up by the BRICS international IT Forum has appealed to the Government of India, the current chair of BRICS, to support the project. Natalia Komarova, Governor of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous region Yugra, said a discussion of financing models will begin at the international economic forum in St. Petersburg in the next few days. K.V.Kamath, President of the BRICS New Development Bank will attend the St. Petersburg international economic forum. The technology permits people living in a remote village to find a medical specialist without having to travel hundreds of kilometres. The specialist can decide whether the patient needs to be sent to the hospital or whether home care would suffice.
