Grant joined Morgan Stanley in August of 2009, having moved back to St. Louis from New York City where he was an account executive and contract negotiator at SeamlessWeb LLC. Prior to that, Grant worked as a financial analyst for Fiduciary Asset Management, a St. Louis-based investment management firm, where he gained experience in options. Grant graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2004 with a bachelor s degree in international politics and a minor in Germanic studies. 12 MEET THE PROFESSIONALS Avis Chandler Senior Client Service Associate Melinda Harper Senior Registered Associate Dori Stegmann Portfolio Associate With more than 20 years of financial services experience, Avis Chandler has been a Senior Client Service Associate with The Medelberg McKay Vasta Group at Morgan Stanley since Her primary responsibilities include onboarding new clients, account processing, issue resolution, overseeing the completion of all paperwork and customer service. However, as the first point of contact for our clients, Avis is best known for her affable demeanor and her ability to develop close, personal relationships with our clients and their families. For Avis, customer service is an attitude not a department. Prior to entering the financial services industry in 1995, Avis was an administrative specialist in the U.S. Army Reserve for seven years. She utilized her military administrative skills to support all areas of the Active Armed Forces in remote locations, such as Egypt and Alaska. When she isn t working, Avis makes meaningful contributions to the church and community. She is an active member of Big Brothers Big Sisters, which helps children reach their potential through one-on-one relationships with a mentor. As the oldest of six siblings, Avis understands that the simple things you give to a child s life can make a big difference. Originally from southwestern Illinois, Avis has resided in the St. Louis area for more 25 years.
