5 RICHARD P. ALTIERI Director-Wealth Management Financial Planning Specialist Financial Advisor Richard P. Altieri is a Director Wealth Management at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. He has been with the firm and its predecessors since Richard has been a member of the firm s Director s Council since In 2008 he was promoted to Director- Wealth Management. As of October 1, 2009, he manages over $485 million in assets for private investors and corporations. In 2005, Richard attained the Morgan Stanley Smith Barney s Financial Planning Specialist designation. The Altieri Group at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney s services over 1,100 clients throughout the world. Born and raised in Fairfield, Connecticut, Richard now lives with his wife and son in Deerfield Beach, Florida. He graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 1987 with a BS degree in Marketing. Richard s responsibilities to his clients include developing investment policies, selection of independent investment advisors, ongoing money manager due diligence, evaluating and monitoring portfolio performance within common stocks, municipal, corporate and government bonds, options and mutual funds as well as setting domestic and global equity/fixed income strategic-tactical asset allocation models. Our ultimate mission is to assist you in building the optimal portfolio from top to bottom. He has been with the firm for the past 20 years. Bill attained the Morgan Stanley Smith Barney Financial Planning Specialist designation in In 2009 Bill was named in Barron s Top 1,000 Advisors in the nation. As of October 2009 Bill manages over $360 million for private investors with an emphasis on fixed income and managed money, focusing on trusts, endowments and wealth management for high-net-worth individuals. Born and raised in North Central West Virginia, Bill did his undergraduate work in Fairmont State University majoring in Finance. He resides in Delray Beach, Florida with his wife. She relocated to South Florida in 2002 and currently resides in Boca Raton, Florida. Leslie Waters has been the Client Service Associate to William S. Calabretta for Eight years. She has been employed by Morgan Stanley Smith Barney for 15 years and has over 28 years of experience in the financial service industry. As a member of the Altieri Group at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Leslie has various responsibilities, but most importantly she provides client services and can assist with most of your operational requests. Leslie was born in West New York, New Jersey, but has resided in Hollywood, Florida for 39 years. She has two great kids Elizabeth is in college and Matthew just graduated high school. Steven Siegel joined Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in 2003, Born and raised in Albany, New York, Steven moved to South Florida in 1994 after attending the State University of New York, Canton. Steven has a strong background in business management, customer service and marketing. Steven provides the Altieri Group at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and clients with administrative and operational support. We ll ask about your current financial resources, your time horizon for various goals, your tolerance for risk even how your liabilities are structured. If you re a business owner, we also might discuss your current banking and cash-management needs. 2. DEVELOPING YOUR WEALTH MANAGEMENT STRATEGY Based on your input, our recommendations will likely address income and retirement planning, asset protection, investment management, strategic borrowing, wealth transfer and business succession. Of course, your plan will include an asset allocation strategy designed to achieve a return in line with your risk tolerance and investment time horizon. 3. IMPLEMENTING YOUR PLAN After presenting you with a detailed strategy for your portfolio, we work closely with you to bring the elements to life. Should we decide that outside money managers are appropriate for you, we will rely on our research to select from the hundreds of investment-management firms competing for your business.
