SUMMARY OF TEACHING/ INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE Dr. Anand carries a total of 19 + years (approx.) of experience of which 14+ years are Industrial Experience in the BFSI Segment and 5+ years are as an academician. She worked initially at a reputed Public Sector Financial Institution SHCIL (Stock Holding Corporation of India Ltd) and received varied exposure to Financial Product and Services creation, Business Development and Operations handling. Her 7 years spent in SHCIL (Stock Holding Corporation of India Ltd) were in the locations of Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Delhi as Dy. Manager. She also coordinated with Stock Exchanges, Depositories, Custodians and Brokerage Firms. Handled Institutional as well as retail customers. At a stage when IT Industry was bustling with projects due to the Outsourcing trend, she moved to IT as a BFSI (Banking Financial Services Insurance) domain consultant. As a part of IT Industry was involved in Functional support and domain audit of Projects, Product Development, evolving a Investment Banking CoE (centre of excellence). She handled client interaction, strategising and account mining of important global clients like Goldman Sacs, SCB, Citibank, Fidelity, Merrill Lynch, GMAC, Barclay Capital, Morgan Stanley etc. The next 8 th to 14 th (6+) years of industrial experience were spent as Sr. Consultant in Polaris Software Lab as a Domain Expert of BFSI vertical. And around 2 years were spent as Manager in Keane a US listed IT outsourcing firm as Growth strategist for Financial Services Vertical. She was also actively involved in CSR activities. She moved to academics due a passion for teaching, writing books and research papers. Her areas of interest are Personal Wealth Management, Banking, Financial Services, Financial Literacy and Inclusion.

2 She carries 5+ years approx. (totalling 19+) years of experience as a pure academician. She joined Gautam Buddha University in June 2008 as Associate professor. As an academician for the last five plus years her papers have been published in various refereed National and International Journals of repute. Her research papers have been published as book chapters. She has also authored/coedited management related books. She has also attended various seminars, conferences and presented her authored research papers at various premium IIT s/iim s and top ranking foreign universities such as Cambridge University and received best paper awards.
