1 Stepping Stone to Success Scheme Project Directors Social Officer Mr. Ho Yiu Chung Billy Mobile: Current Affairs Officer Ms. Hung Kam Han Katherine Mobile: Executive Summary Stepping Stone to Success Scheme (S4) is a comprehensive scheme that concludes various activities for the business students from all 8, including Mentorship Programme 2007, Workshops and Firm Visits. It aims to provide an opportunity for our members to develop their business mindset and get familiarized to the operation of the real business world. It is the fifth year our Federation organize S4. In the past, we have gained a lot of supports from not only the business and academic fields, but also the Government and the general public. Last year, there were over 800 applicants for our Mentorship Programme, with 249 successful applicants and we were honored to invite over 60 prominent businessmen and leaders as our mentors such as Mr Ronny Tong (Legislative Council Member), Ms Audrey Eu Yuet Mee (Legislative Council Member) and many other mentors from various business fields like banking, insurance, and mass media. An Opening Ceremony of Mentorship programme 2006 was successfully held in late October. Another content of S4 are Workshops and Firm visits. Our proposed theme for workshops are High Table Manner & Wine Tasting Workshop, and Professional Grooming workshop. The estimated participants of the workshops are students each. And scope of the firm visits will depends on firm s decision. 2
