Mr. John A. Bardis founded MedAssets, Inc. in 1999 and served as its Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer until earlier this year. MedAssets provides cost and clinical resource management, and purchasing and revenue cycle solutions to 4 out of every 5 hospitals in the US and 123,000 non-acute healthcare providers covering over $450 billion in gross patient revenue. With over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry in senior management positions, he currently serves on the board of Jackson Healthcare and High Bar Capital and as Chairman Emeritus of MedAssets. Modern Healthcare named him one of the Top 100 Most Influential Leaders in Healthcare in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014, and he was named Entrepreneur of the Year by Inc. Magazine in His passion for giving back to people is amazing. He is the founder and chairman of Hire Heroes, the nation s largest veteran integration and veteran training organization. He serves on the Board of USA Wrestling, The Health Careers Foundation and as the Chairman of the Atlanta Fire Youth Hockey Club. In 2008, he was named the Team Leader of the U.S. Greco-Roman Wrestling Team for the Beijing Olympics. He also notably serves on the board of the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency.
