1 BrahMos India-Russia Joint Venture Issue No. 33 (2015) SPECIAL BULLETIN TRI-SERVICES MAINTENANCE CONCLAVE, 12 JUNE 2015 Tri-Services Maintenance Conclave was organised at BrahMos HQ in New Delhi on 12 June 2015 to highlight the important issues, which had direct bearing on serviceability of the Equipment and were crucial for ensuring the extended life of the BrahMos Weapon System. All the three wings of the Indian Armed Forces made their valuable presence of the occasion. MESSAGE BY DR. The missile system is planned to be launched from Su-30MKI platform. BrahMos will soon start to develop the fastest hypersonic missile in the world. Our vision is to be the world leader in the field of Cruise Missile Systems.

Padmavathi, Mr. Gautam Sasidharan and Mr. Sandeep Mukundan showed immense potential in the development of Recalibration Test Stand (RTS). In view of the most significat and innovative contribution, the team was conferred with the Best Innovation Award BEST INNOVATION AWARD

3 BEST INDUSTRY AWARD For the high level of commitment and outstanding contribution to the BrahMos Programme, JSC Concern Granit-Electron has been conferred with the Best Industry Award 2015 For the high level of commitment and outstanding contribution to the BrahMos Programme and the national cause, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, NASHIK was been conferred with the Best Industry Award 2015 BEST INSTITUTION SUPPORT AWARD In recognition of their exceptional contributions in maintaining the Quality of the System and being partner in the success of BrahMos, the Best Institution Support Award 2015 was conferred on the MSQAA. YOUNG SCIENTIST AWARD In recognition of his contribution, displaying high level of skill, competence and commitment, Mr Alen Abraham is conferred with the Young Scientist Award 2015 In recognition of his dedicated effort and perseverance Mr PK Sarat Chandra is conferred with the Young Scientist Award 2015 In recognition of his utmost dedication and impeccable contribution Mr N Vikram is conferred with the Young Scientist Award 2015 For his exemplary innovation and outstanding contribution, Mr Ch Kranti Kumar is conferred with the Young Scientist Award 2015 For her selfless devotion and outstanding contribution, Ms Gobikaa is conferred with the Young Scientist Award 2015

5 MISSION EXCELLENCE AWARD The team of Mr NS Sreenivas, Sc G DRDO, Lt. Col. Anil Misra, GM (TP & Infra), BrahMos and Mr Tilak Chand Katoch, Engineer RCI undertook painstaking task of measurement of Target Area for D-47 and D-48 Flight Trials. In recognition of their selfless devotion and dedication in accomplishing the mission, the team is conferred with the Mission Excellence Award 2015 Mr Ved Prakash Pandey, Systems Manager, Mr Ganesh Patil, Systems Manager and Mr B Sudhakar, Systems Manager have shown highest degree of self motivation and contributed in the timely commissioning of the System, undertaken successful Installation Test Firing (ITF) and Acceptance Test Firing (ATF) on board INS Kolkata. In recognition of their remarkable contribution to the commissioning of the system, the team is conferred with the Mission Excellence Award 2015 Having built the confidence and required organisational support, Product Support Team got AMC orders worth Rs 123 Crores for the First Army Regiment and Simulators for School of Artillery. In recognition of their remarkable support to the Users, the team constituting Mr Sumanta Sarathi Kundu, Addl. GM, Mr Sunil Kumar, DGM, Mr Gaya Prasad Maurya, Sr. Systems Engineer and Mr. Rajeev Kumar, Technical Supervisor have been conferred with the Mission Excellence Award 2015

Second issue of CSR Bulletin for the year was released by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, 11th President of India on 13 June 2015.

8 CULTURAL EVENING A splendid and spectacular performance by the Oscar Jazz Band from Russia was held at the BrahMos Aerospace Headquarters in New Delhi on the occasion of BrahMos Day 2015 Celebrations. The colourful cultural extravaganza, which was organised with support from the Embassy of the Russian Federation had the gracious presence of H.E. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, 11th President of India.
