4 INTRODUCTION Despite the downturn of the Oil and Gas prices since 2017, the Oil and Gas constitute the backbone of Turkey s Economy. The State of Turkey exerts efforts to diversify its resources to alleviate the country s dependence on crude Oil and Gas The Turkey leadership endeavours to increase production capacity of the liquefied natural Gas (LNG) and the Oil as the majority of the GDP relies on Oil and Gas. The ministry of energy and industry assumes the responsibility for planning and supervising the implementation of the strategy for Oil and Gas and other relevant industries within the Ministry s general policy. The state continues, through QP, to execute its plans aiming at increasing Oil reserve and production capacity through the continuous efforts to develop the onshore and offshore fields. ONG Consultants Oil and Gas was established by entrepreneurs in view of the current economic outlook to participate in supporting these developments. However, the company shall take a leading and strong role in Turkey after meeting the current challenges through its strong multinational associations and JV s from around the globe.

The company through its partnerships can offer spectrum of capabilities covers the development, rejuvenation, as well as commissioning of projects. 6 PROJECTS Kirkuk-Ceyhan Port Oil Pipeline, Kirkuk, IRAQ Solar Power Plants, TURKEY El Faw Refinery, Basra, IRAQ The construction of 350km Kirkuk Ceyhan Port Pipeline 48 inch ND. This project will also consist of the construction of two tank farms. The first one shall consist of 6x m3 working capacity and the other consist of 4x m3 working capacity, including transfer metering stations and receiving stations. Project Value: is estimated to be 2,5 billion USD Client: NOC North Oil Company of Iraq Construction of Kirkuk-Ceyhan Port Pipeline will be awarded on a BOOT basis. Joint Venture Partners: Metalex Rus / Rosneftgastroy and 25% Iraqı Entity. The acquisition of 44 companies producing 338 MW of Solar Power Plant in different locations in Turkey. Total value of the acquisition will be 520 million USD To construct a 300,000 BPD Al-Faw Refinery near Basra by way of BOT. The Project will include the constructıon of a pipeline, crude oil storage tanks of a 60 days capacity, as well as power station to operate the refinery. In addition the consortium will re-develop the export terminal at Al-Faw located at the Island. Project Value: it is estimated to be 9 billion USD. 13 The core of Metalex is formed by a group of highly experienced specialists who worked together as a team in most of the biggest energy and infrastructure projects in the middle east and FSU countries, majority in Turkey, built over the last four decades. These people who are the most valuable asset of the company have worked in the top posts of these projects as project managers, construction managers, site managers, QA/QC managers, spreadbosses, lead-engineers, specialists, supervisors and foremen covering all phases including engineering, design, material and equipment procurement, construction, quality control, testing, commissioning and operation. Mr. Aydın YURDAYAR, the Chairman and CEO of the company, was the technical boss of the team as Project Manager of most of these projects. His last outstanding post as a professional manager was in the USD Blue Stream Project. He was the Project Coordinator and a member of the Executive Commitee of OHS Joint Venture, the contractor which constructed on turn-key basis the Turkish on-shore part of the Blue Stream Project. Metalex has been established in 1996 as a limited liability company. In the year 2000 it has turned into an incorporation with 1.000,000,000,000 TL paid-up capital. It is registered as an authorised engineering company and turn-key construction contractor in the short-list of Turkish Pipeline Operator Company BOTAS, Turkish State Refinery Company TUPRAS and Turkish Oil Exploration Company TPAO both for high pressure cross-country pipelines and low pressure distribution pipelines and oil & gas facilities separately. The capabilities of Metalex as a general contractor covers nearly all phases of oil & gas pipeline and facility construction and industrial plants design and construction. The market target is the Middle East, North African and Eastern European countries. The capabilities and strength of Metalex is detailed in the following sections of this company profile.
