3 Defining Your Life Purpose For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 Life purpose: your unique assignment from God, development of your spiritual gifts and growing in love and godly character so that you can help others. Destiny: the direction you take your life. It may not be clear yet; takes time to unfold and it is often where you end up (good or bad). What is Your Life All About? Take a few moments and think about your life and your gifts as a hidden treasure in a field (Matthew 13:44). What special or unique gifts do you have? These gifts can help point you to your life s purpose and destiny. Take a few moments and answer the questions below. After answering the questions, take some time and consider your answers, then write down at least five special or unique things about you right now and think about how they connect to what you feel in your heart that your life s purpose and destiny is. What is something that you have always wanted to do? Perhaps even as a child you dreamed of doing this thing. Describe it in a few sentences, being both general and specific.

4 What are some things you are good at? What types of people are you drawn to? Where do you feel most creative, accepted, and celebrated?

5 What do you absolutely love to do? My special gifts and unique talents are: How do each of these gifts connect with what you feel your life s purpose is?
