1 MODULE 7 WHY AM I NOT MAKING MONEY? Introduction Hi, this is Stefan, and welcome to Module 7, Why am I Not Making Money? Answer These Questions There are many reasons why you may not be making money yet. To help pinpoint why yet you aren t making money, its best to ask yourself and honestly answer the following questions: Is your content high quality? Remember, you want to focus on great or epic quality content Are you consistently publishing content, on your blog, YouTube, and social media accounts? Are you getting traffic, views, subscribers, and followers? Are your visitors staying on your website? You can help identify that by going over the Google Analytics to be able to see exactly how people are using your website. Pinpointing the Problem Are you visitors clicking on your affiliate links? Are your visitors subscribing to your list?
2 Are your subscribers opening your s? Are your subscribers clicking your affiliate links in your s? Is the product that you are promoting targeted? Does it have good marketing? Is your audience engaging with you? Are they liking your content? Are they sharing your content? Are they leaving comments? Are they asking you questions? Have you given your business enough time? Have you been patient, or are you expecting results too soon? Have you implemented everything that has been taught inside this program? I really hope that you ask yourself these questions and answer them honestly, because a part of being successful in business is that you have to diagnose your business and pinpoint exactly why you may not be making money, how you could improve, and how you can grow your business. Reasons Why Aren t Making Money I am now going to share with you the different reasons why people are not making money, and what I believe to be the solutions for them. Your content is not high quality enough. If you have identified that your content isn t high quality enough, than you want to focus on creating great or epic content. If this is the case, I recommend going back to previous modules and looking at examples from other people in your niche and market so that you can get a better idea, compare, and see what you can do in order to do better.
3 You are not publishing content consistently or frequently enough. The solution is to focus on publishing more on your blog, YouTube and social media. You cannot just publish content occasionally and expect to have great results. You have to have a consistent schedule, be frequent and stick with that. Your content is not attracting visitors or viewers. If that is the case, than you want to focus on promoting your content and optimizing for SEO, and being a little bit patient too, because ranking in Google and the search engines can take time because you have a brand new website or YouTube channel; it takes time to build up your authority. Go back to the previous module and focus on optimizing your content better, focus on promoting and sharing it on social media, and following the steps that I mentioned. Your visitors are not staying on your website; they leave too quickly. If that is the case, than you want to make sure your content is quality and that it is targeted to what people want. When people click on your article, on social media, or on Google or YouTube, you want to make sure that the actual content that they are reading is good. If it s not good, than they are going to leave very quickly, and think that it was a waste of time clicking on the link and going to your website. Make sure that your content is high quality, again, great or epic, and make sure that it is actually relevant and targeted to what people want. Your subscribers are not opening your s. If this is the case than you want to make sure that your affiliate links are compelling enough to click, and that what you are offering is targeted and relevant to what your audience wants. For example, if you have an audience of people that are interested in weight loss, and then you create an affiliate link and try to promote a product that is targeted towards gaining muscle mass, than that s a totally different niche or market; that is not
4 targeted or relevant at all. Those are two different things, so make sure that your links are attractive, compelling and targeted. Your visitors are not subscribing to your -list. If this is the case, than you want to make sure that your FREE giveaway is amazing and has high-perceived value to your niche or market. Make it attractive and irresistible enough that people want to subscribe to it, and that could mean that you have a good graphic, cover or image, for whatever it is that you are giving away; that can help make it more attractive. Make sure you have a great title or headline of whatever you are giving away as well, and just make sure that it is targeted. One of the best ways to identify whether or not it is targeted is to ask your audience and see what they want from you. You need to fully engage with them, survey them, ask questions, and they can give you a lot of great feedback on what they want. In doing so, that will help you identify what you should create that is going to be valuable for them. Your subscribers are not opening your s. If that is the case, than you want to make sure that your subject lines are compelling enough that people want to click to read your . It is very important to improve the subject lines, because that is what people are going to see when they open up s, as well as who the is from, so make sure that they recognize your name or your brand name. That can also help increase the open rates. Your subscribers are not clicking your affiliate links inside your . If that is the case, focus on making sure that your affiliate links are compelling enough to click, and that what you are offering, is targeted and relevant to what your audience wants. In addition, focus on pre-selling whatever it is that you are promoting with the affiliate links that you have. Make sure that the copy, everything that you have been writing, the trust, the relationship, the value that you are giving, all the things that you do before you promote something, is going to help determine the results of
5 your promotion. Therefore, more people are going to want to click through your affiliate links and check out what it is that you are offering. Your subscribers are not buying what you are promoting. You might be promoting and doing everything right, but when they click to the link, they are not buying and you are not earning any commission from it. If that is the case, than you want to focus on choosing products to promote that are targeted and relevant to what your subscribers want, and have high conversion rates. If you have done everything else right, I would look at the product itself, the sales page of the product, the sales video, and just making sure that the conversion rate and everything is really good and high quality. If, for whatever reason, the product is not converting, than I recommend testing different products, because sometimes you need to test different offers. That is how you learn; you learn from that to see what your audience is going to respond most to, and what is going to convert the best for them. Do not be afraid to test different products, track everything the best that you can, and try different things until you eventually find what works best. I also recommend to focus on pre-selling, so that might be reviewing the product, pre-selling it better, adding more value, explaining the benefits of the product; if you can do a better job doing that, than that can help to increase conversions as well. Also, focus on building more trust and relationship with your subscribers, by providing value and engaging with them. The trust and relationship that you have, and the value that you have given them previously is going to help determine the results as well. Focus on establishing that, and in turn, your subscribers will trust you more when you recommend something, they will actually believe that they need to check it out, because what you are saying to them means something, because they trust you, and you have already provided value to them in the past.
6 Your audience is not engaging with you. If that is the case, focus on creating really high quality content and ASK your audience to engage with you; ask them to comment, ask them to like, ask them to share or respond to you. When you send an out to your list, ask them, Hey, answer this or answer this question for me, or Can you go to the blog and leave a comment, or leave a comment below this video and let me know what you think? If you have established good goodwill with your audience, than they will support you and that is the ultimate position that you want to be in. That comes down to high quality content, but also just asking for it. You have not given things enough time. Be patient. It takes time, and for everyone, it is different. Keep working hard and focus on the long-term rewards of your actions. You have not fully implemented everything inside this program. I know that for a few people, this is the case; they have skimmed through things or they did not implement the assignments, take action, and be consistent with what they have been learning. If that is you, than I recommend to go back through some of the previous modules and just make sure that you ve taken massive action and that you have implemented what you ve learned to the best of your ability. Finally, it is always recommend that you get help and feedback from others that are more experienced than you are. Sometimes, someone else might be able to notice things in your business that you might not be noticing, and be able to give you a 100% honest assessment and provide feedback. In my case, I know that there are certain blind spots in my business. I am thankful because I have certain mentors, people in my Master Mind group, and people that are more successful than I am, and I had them look at things and share their honest opinion on what I am doing. I really value their feedback because they have more success than I have. I found that
7 to be invaluable because, one tip or piece of advice that they share, could change my entire business model and help me get to that next level. I recommend that you utilize the Facebook group community, and ask for help from others. I created the community for a reason, everyone in the group has a different level of experience; some people are brand new beginners, but other people are more experienced, making a lot of money, and very successful. Tap into that resource and ask questions. Do not be afraid to post and share your website, business, and content, and have people give you honest feedback. The more vulnerable that you can be, the better. I know it takes courage to do that. When you are vulnerable, it can be challenging and hard to face criticism, but that is what can allow you to grow to that next level. It is also worthwhile to ask someone to review your business and get feedback, so in some cases, you can actually pay people that are more experienced, and pay a one-time fee, and they will review your entire business and website, and give you some feedback and bullet points. I know that I have done that, in many cases, where I have had people go over my SEO strategy, and paid a company to do that, or gone over my YouTube channel and strategy or social media. I ve received a lot of good insights and valuable feedback by doing that, so don t be afraid to ask people or be willing to pay someone, a company, or an individual who can do that for you. Finally, invest in coaching or mentorship with someone more experienced. This has always been a game changer for me; finding people that are more successful than I am. Paying, working with them, and having them go over my business and guide me to grow my business over a period of time. Whenever you have someone else in your corner, especially someone that has already done it and that is more successful than you are, than its going to be invaluable and it is going to help you grow your business and take you to the next level.
