3 Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s), Welcome to first grade! Throughout the year we will be completing many projects and assignments that require the use of supplies. We have created a list below of supplies each child is responsible for having in the classroom. Please have your child bring in the following supplies as soon as possible: 24 - #2 Pencils SHARPENED (Ticonderoga 4 Black and White Wide-Ruled brand only please. All others brands do not Marble Notebooks sharpen properly or lead falls out.) 1 pair Blunt-tip Fiskar Scissors 64 Count CRAYOLA Crayons Art Smock: 1 adult-sized t-shirt labeled with name 1 large boxes of tissues 1 Package Thin CRAYOLA Markers 1 large containers of baby wipes 4 large pencil erasers 4 Folders (pockets on bottom only, no prongs) 2 Yellow highlighters 28 Small Elmer s Glue Sticks 12 BLACK, skinny Expo Dry Erase Markers 1 Standard Size Backpack (no wheels) Thank you so much for helping your child to become successful in the classroom. We will be organizing our supplies and materials the first few days to set up for a successful year. Along with the supplies, please include a short letter telling me about your child. Incorporate any important information you think I should know, along with some interesting details that will help me to get to know your student better. I like to create a comfortable learning environment by making each child feel special and important. The more I know about them, the easier it is for me to do that.
