5 CoCreate Annotation Overview Course Code TRN-2867-T Course Length 2 Days CoCreate Annotation is a course that will teach you 2 D drawing creating using CoCreate Annotation. Create multiple-sheet drawings. Generate various types of primary and dependant views with different types of update modes. You will also learn how to add all types of annotations to your drawing, ranging from dimensions, additional geometry and text, symbols, pictures, and even OLE objects. You will complete the design cycle by updating a drawing after modifying the 3 D model. You will finally conclude by adding a BOM to your assembly drawing. You will have a full understanding of the CoCreate drawing creation process. Course Objectives Create drawings of 3 D models using CoCreate Annotation. Create and update various types of views. 7 CoCreate Basic Modeling Overview Course Code TRN-2868 T Course Length 3 Days Introduction to CoCreate Modeling is a course that will teach you the basics about 3-D design using CoCreate Modeling. You will learn about CoCreate s explicit approach to 3-D design and the basics of working with workplanes and 2-D. Using the intuitive interface, you will learn how to build and modify parts and assemblies. You will also be instructed on tips and best practices. After completing this course, you will have an understanding of the explicit modeling approach of CoCreate Modeling, and be able to design functional and manufacturable products using this tool. Course Objectives Understand the explicit modeling approach of CoCreate Modeling. Create workplanes by various methods. Create and modify 2 D using traditional methods and 2 D CoPilot. Create parts from 2 D using Machine commands. Modify parts with Blends, Chamfers, face modifications, and face booleans. Create and modify assemblies. Customize the user interface. This course includes advanced 3 D modification functions and options. You will be introduced to advanced freeform functions. You will also learn how to further manage assemblies with configurations, and clash analysis. In addition, 3D Documentation Module and the Machining Module will be introduced. Course Objectives Understand and use the advanced options in modification commands. Understand and use faceset features and patterns. Create freeform parts using Loft, Sweep, and Helix. This course delivers the foundation needed to jumpstart your success with 2D design with CoCreate Drafting. You will learn how to design and modify parts, create and manipulate assemblies, customize your interface, and more. Prerequisites To be successful in this course, you must be able to interpret mechanical engineering drawings and understand drafting concepts. 13 CoCreate Part Library Overview Course Code Course Length TRN-2892-T 2 Days In this course, you will learn about and use the PartLibrary Module for CoCreate Modeling. You will be introduced to Standard Part Library and screw connections. You will also learn how to assign material properties to parts and assemblies. In addition, drill holes, shaft related operations and Annotation tools will be introduced. Pro/FICIENCY assessments will be provided in order for you to assess your understanding of the course materials. The assessment results will also identify the class topics that require further review. At the end of the class, you will either take an assessment via your PTC University account, or your instructor will provide training on how to do this after the class. Course Objectives Understand and use the Standard Parts library. Understand and use screw connections. Create parametrized drilled and center holes. Assign material properties to parts and assemblies. Attach thread attributes to shafts and hubs. Create tooth shafts and hubs. Add feather keys to design. 16 CoCreate 2D to 3D Modeling Jump Start Course Code Course Length TRN-2893-T 2 Days Overview CoCreate Modeling 2D to 3D Modeling Jumpstart is a instructor-led class consisting of lectures and laboratory exercises. Students will learn how to create, modify, and manipulate analytic 3D models. The Annotation portion of this course instructs the student in the capabilities within CoCreate Modeling to create and modify 2D drawings that are derived from the 3D model. 18 CoCreate Sheet Metal Course Code Course Length TRN-2894-T 2 Days Overview The Sheet Metal course will impart the knowledge for you to quickly design high quality sheet metal parts. You will learn to create sheets, add lips, hems and offsets and to use standard tools from a library of punches and stamps. You will learn to select standard materials and tools so that you know your design will be manufacturable by performing manufacturability checks at each design stage. You will also learn how to extract on-line cost estimates so you can evaluate the financial impact of different sheet metal design alternatives. Prerequisites This course requires the prior completion of the CoCreate Basic Modeling. Also we highly recommend prior completion of the CoCreate Modeling Annotation course. Note: The Sheet Metal module requires the appropriate license in order to be enabled.
