The new figurines include: a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, an impressive tractor figurine entitled Spring Supplement, a new Charolais cattle study as well as a Swaledale sheep one, four new mugs featuring favourite figurine scenes, a family of foxes raiding a barbecue, some hopeful otters foraging among fish crates, fun jugs in two different sizes featuring farmyard animals, and last but by no means least, the Society s Exclusive Member-only figurines. EACH PIECE IS HAND-SCULPTED BY AN ESTABLISHED BORDER FINE ARTS ARTIST AND IS SUBJECT TO THE Every item in our Studio Collection is subject to the same rigorous development processes and stringent quality checks as our Classic Figurines. Each piece is hand-sculpted by an established Border Fine Arts artist and is subject to the same lengthy pre-production processes all figurines undergo at our Scottish studios, which ensures all its original, minute attention to detail has been captured. Once the figurines and accessories in the Studio Collection have been approved by the artists at Langholm, production can then take place by our international manufacturing partners, who have been carefully chosen for the high quality of their work. The James Herriot Studio Collection James Herriot became famous throughout the world for his books that captured the essence of life in England s Yorkshire Dales in the 1930s and 40s.

Each of our fabulous, lifelike figurines tells their own story and brings to life many of these characters from the tales of Britain s favourite vet. 2008 James Herriot.

The characters were portrayed with all their foibles and contradictions, their tight-fistedness and their generosity but, above all, their courage and gritty humour. One thing s for sure, this little pup had better be careful now, as his prize may still prove difficult to get away from the canny Moss, who could wake at any moment! B1030 Grey Partridge Personal Event Figurine 2008 Limited Edition of 250 by Ray Ayres Height: 18.0cm Length: 17.5cm Sadly, the grey partridge s population in the UK declined by fifty per cent between 1969 and 1990, rendering them a protected species under the Games Acts. Keeping out of harm s way however, our fine specimen is safely camouflaged in a hollow under the hawthorn hedge, which is also the perfect place to scratch the soil for grubs. B0854 Peregrine Symbol of Loyalty by Ray Ayres Height: 8.5cm Length: 7.0cm This lovely figurine has been sculpted in celebration of the fifteenth anniversary of the Border Fine Arts Society as a thank you gift to members with fifteen years continuous membership.
