1 RURAL ELECTRIFICATION ASSOCIATIONS If you are locating in a rural electrification association (REA) service area, you must enter into a Member Service Contract with that REA before you can obtain electrical service. Regulation requires that all registered land owners enter into this contractual agreement with the REA.
