1 Reference guide to CMT applicants in your area (as updated by GWRC on 05 February 2018) If you are applying for resource consent in the common marine and coastal area you need to notify and seek the views of any group that has applied for recognition of customary marine title in the area, as per section 62 of the Marine and Coastal Area Act. This must take place prior to submitting your resource consent application. GWRC have compiled a list of customary marine title applicants in their jurisdiction based on the information currently made available.
