1 Information for Applicants School Uniform Grants are available for eligible students attending New Zealand schools. Students can apply once at primary level, once at intermediate level and once at secondary level. The 2018 Uniform Grant amounts for approved students are: Primary level (years 1 6) $150 Intermediate level (years 7 & 8) $200 Secondary level (years 9 13) $250 Payment of Approved Uniform Grants Where the school provides the uniform the Trust will pay the grant direct to the school. You must provide a copy of the school bank account deposit slip, the school contact phone number and where applicable the student s account reference or ID number. Where the uniform is from a shop (not the school) the Trust will pay the grant direct to the shop. You will need to get a quote from the shop. The quote must include the shop bank account and contact details (except for quotes from The Warehouse - you do not need to get their bank account details). For schools in Taupo / Turangi you do not need to provide a school bank deposit slip. For uniforms from Brandfuel you do not need to provide a quote or bank account details. Payments or reimbursements will not be made to individuals. If the uniform costs more than the grant the parent / caregiver must pay any extras to the school or shop. Applications will be processed until 30 March For new entrants starting school during the year, grant applications will be processed during: 1-10 May, 25 June 5 July and 3 13 September Applicant Checklist - please read carefully and check the information you need to complete / provide: First time Uniform Grant applications Student and School Details page If the uniform is purchased from the school attach a copy of school bank account deposit slip (only if the school is out of Taupo / Turangi). Confirmation of Ownership Include a printout of the Maori Land Online record (check at If ownership is through a Whanau Trust attach a copy of the Court Succession / Vesting Order Grant Eligibility Applicants and students must be owners or the descendants of owners of land vested in the East Taupo Lands Trust, who are resident in New Zealand. Failure to provide accurate details and/or complete this application correctly may result in your application being declined.
