4 Introduction The Appalachian Mountain Club has compiled available GIS data for the Pennsylvania Highlands. Currently we have over 1600 unique data layers in our document. This compilation is meant to be a resource for those living and working in the Pennsylvania Highlands. However, because data is constantly evolving and being created, please understand that the information in this guide will also change. While we will do our best to keep the information current, please make sure to check other sources and the internet for the most current information. If you know of data that we should add or updates that we need to make, please let us know by ing pahighlands@outdoors.org. We hope you enjoy this resource, Appalachian Mountain Club Updated 2/28/11 Page 1
