12 Child & Family Leadership Exchange Program The mission of the Child & Family Leadership Exchange Program is to promote excellence in leadership among Summit County professionals serving children and families. The mission of Child & Family Leadership Exchange (CFLE) is to promote excellence in leadership among Summit County professionals serving children and families. Participants in CFLE gain an in-depth understanding of the county s child and family services systems, expand their network of service delivery partners, and develop their leadership skills. The program's hands-on approach to learning encourages communication among service providers and enhances the effectiveness of those leaders committed to strengthening family life in the community. During the CFLE Program year, Class XXIII participants will gain an in-depth understanding of the county s child and family services through full-day class sessions, pre-class activities and interactions with various organization leaders. They will coordinate Class project that responds to a specific community need and additionally, they will form many lasting relationships which will help them to better serve Summit County children and families in the future.
