S5 Da Db Dc 3. Thread a size beading needle with 4-5 feet of prepared beading thread. Leave a 6 inch tail thread.

Sew through st B + Da. Thread exits a Da bead. (this is a RAW unit) top 2 nd st 3 3. bottom 4.

Pick up Db. Sew through the next Da. Continue adding Db beads on the bottom of the band until you get to the st B bead.

S5 Da Db Dc 4 7. Continue beading in MRAW until there are 7 B beads. Thread exits the Da between B(#6) and (#7).

Sew through B#(9) and each of the Da + Db beads on the top of the band to the Da between B(#6) and (#7).

Thread exits the Da between B(#23) and (#24). Sew through the last B(#24). Pick up B. Sew through B(#24) again.

Add Db beads between each of the Da beads on the bottom of the band, as in step 6 and step 8.

5 S5 Da Db Dc 4 7. Continue beading in MRAW until there are 7 B beads. Thread exits the Da between B(#6) and (#7) st Sew through B(#7) + Da. Add Db between each Da on the bottom of the band. Sew through B#(9) and each of the Da + Db beads on the top of the band to the Da between B(#6) and (#7) top 2 st bottom 9. Continue beading in MRAW until there are 24 B beads. Thread exits the Da between B(#23) and (#24). Sew through the last B(#24). Pick up B. Sew through B(#24) again. Do this 4 more times for a total of 5 (groups of 4 beads). Thread exits the last Db on the top of the band. *Tip: I find it easier to count out the 4 beads first and count them as I am stringing them.

6 S5 Da Db Dc 5 Adding the Helix Points:. Sew through the Da + Db beads on the bottom of the band until you reach the st B. Sew through the st B + Da + Db. Pick up 4 Db. Count over 4 Db beads and sew through this 4 th bead. There should be 3 Db band beads between each of the band beads that the points are anchored to. Do this 4 more times for a total of 5 (groups of 4 beads). Thread exits the last Db on the top of the band. *Tip: I find it easier to count out the 4 beads first and count them as I am stringing them. Count twice, sew once. Anchor bead st First row of peyote: Sew through the first bead in the group of 4. Peyote stitch 3 Db on the upward slope of the point. Pick up 2 Db. Sew through the next bead in the strand. These 2 beads create the point. Peyote stitch 3 Db on the down slope of the strand. Sew through the 4 th bead of the strand and through the Db anchor bead on the band. Repeat this process 4 more times, adding the st row of peyote to each of the groups of 4 Db beads. S5 Da Db Dc 6 3. Second row: Sew through the first bead in the group of 4 and the st bead of the first row of peyote. Peyote stitch 3 Dc on the upward slope of the point. Pick up 2 Dc.

Sew through the next bead in the strand. The point is increased by these two beads. Peyote stitch 3 Dc on the down slope of the strand. Sew through the last peyote bead of the previous row and through the first peyote bead of the next point 2. The valley is decreased by sewing through these two beads. Repeat this process 4 more times, adding Dc beads to each of the groups of 4 Db beads. Thread exits an anchor bead. Increase the point by adding 2 Dc beads Decrease the valley by sewing through 2 Db beads 4. Last row: Sew through the first bead in the group of 4 and the st bead of the first row of peyote (Db) and the st bead of the second row of peyote (Dc); beads with heavy black outline. Peyote S5 beads into the up slope of the point. Add only S5 between the 2 Dc at the tip of the point. Peyote S5 beads into the down slope of the point. Sew through the st Dc of the next point (this decreases the beads in the valley). Repeat from to add S5 beads to each of the points. 4. Tel / Toll free sales@johnbead.com

I like to sew through the hole in the earring stud and back through the bead work for added security after I attach the earring stud. 4. Place the open earring stud onto/over the 2 bugle beads. Allow the glue to dry a little before you squeeze the dome down onto the beads. 2. Add a small dab of glue to the flat surface of the opened earring stud. 3.
