3 Specifications Built to withstand the harshest of laboratory environments, Air Master Systems steel casegoods set the standard for strength and durability. AMS has now combined the unparalleled benefits of steel construction with the contemporary look of overlay door and drawer fronts. Overlay fronts sit in front of the cabinet frame, with square edges and minimal side reveals: (1/8 ) interior cabinet reveals between adjacent doors and drawers and (1/16 ) perimeter reveals. For 35 high base cabinets, the top gap/reveal is 0.575, as shown. The bottom gap/reveal is 0.65 for both 29 and 35 high base cabinets. 25 Mobile Base Cabinets Any standard base cabinet can be configured as a mobile cabinet. Mobile base cabinets feature heavyduty, front-locking casters (which replace the toe kick on standard cabinets) and a solid metal back. A solid metal top may also be ordered see Base Cabinet Accessories. To order a 29 high mobile cabinet, substitute the prefix OMB25 for the prefix OB29. Similarly, for a 35 high mobile cabinet, substitute the prefix OMB31 for the prefix OB35. The remainder of the product number is unchanged. Example: OMB Hanging Base Cabinets Any standard base cabinet can also be configured as a hanging cabinet. Hanging base cabinets feature the same construction as standard base cabinets, but without a 4 toekick. Thus, a standard 29 high base cabinet would become a 25 high hanging cabinet, while a standard 35 high base cabinet would become a 31 high hanging cabinet. To order a 25 high hanging base cabinet, substitute the prefix OHB25 for the prefix OB29. Similarly, for a 31 high hanging base cabinet, substitute the prefix OHB31 for the prefix OB35. On 18 and 24 wide units, specify right ( R ) or left ( L ) hinge location. Both doors will be given the same hinge location, unless otherwise specified.
