1 Warranty Information (Items in the following catalogue are notated with " Lifetime 1 ", " " or " " warranty. Please see below for each warranty's scope.) warrants that each piece of furniture will be free from defects in workmanship given normal use and care for as long as you, the original customer, owns and uses the product. Normal use is defined as the equivalent of a single shift, 40 hour work week. In the event that a product is used more than normal use, the applicable warranty period will be reduced to 12 years and items that fall under different warranty limitations, as listed below, will be reduced to 1/3 (i.e. Wood chair frames will be 4 years instead of 12 years)., at its option, will repair or replace with comparable product any product, part or component shipped after September 1, 2011, if the claim is eligible under the conditions of this warranty. Limitations: The particular product lines, materials, and components listed below are covered under 's 12-year, 10-year, and 5-year Warranties (from date of purchase). Color-fastness or matching of colors, woodgrains, or textures occurring in wood, leather, or other materials that naturally exhibit inherent color variations. Customer's own materials or any other non-standard material (including Maharam and Momentum) selected by and used at the request of the user. Normal wear and tear, which are to be expected over the course of ownership. Damages or failures resulting from modifications, alterations, misuse, abuse or negligence of products. Products that were not installed, used or maintained in accordance with product instructions and warnings. Products used for rental purposes. Product is in compliance with stringent emission emission guidelines set out by the Greenguard Environmental Institute under the standards for low emitting products and materials. Product meets specific indoor air quality standards developed by SCS (Scientific Certification Systems). Product meets ISTA (International Safe Transit Association) standards. Laminate Finishes and Paint Colors Choosing a standard finish and color helps USF to promote a sustainable environment because it allows other divisions of the university to reuse the old furniture of departments purchasing a new set of furniture. Hence, USF encourages the use of Avant Honey as the standard laminate finish and Putty as the standard metal paint color to promote environmental sustainability and furniture reusability. Estimated lead time for standard items is approximately 4-6 weeks, from the date of PO acceptance by the manufacturer. Lead times will differ if special fabric (i.e. TB133 compliant) is needed.
