6 Our Styles Traditional Series American Heritage Series Maplevilles Traditional Series harkens back to the cabinet making styles of the 1700 s and 1800 s in New England, New York, Massachusetts, Virgina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Pennsylvania. The styles from these periods are reflected in our cabinet doors and drawers by incorporating specific moldings and raised panels. We have 5 styles of cabinets in the Traditional Series: Bridgeport, Charleston, Georgian, Madison, and Savannah. Maplevilles American Heritage Series is based on the simpler and more functional cabinetry expressed in several design movements such as Shaker, Arts and Crafts (Craftsman), Mission, and Farmhouse. Our American Heritage Series has 4 cabinet styles: Capistrano Mission, Shaker Flush Mounted Doors and Drawers, Converted Shaker or Farmhouse, and California Craftsman.

Maplevilles Capistrano Mission Style cabinets are constructed from maple, solid oak, or other hardwoods. Gaining popularity at the turn of the 20th century during the movement west, the mission style was crafted to be substantive and solid with beautiful and elegant finishes that have a hint of old world charm. Our Mission style cabinet is being shown here in a darke spresso stain. Converted Shaker and Farmhouse Maplevilles Converted Shaker and Farmhouse cabinets have two style options.

Either design option allows the doors and drawers to be opened by hand without door pulls or door handles.

17 Converted Shaker and Farmhouse Maplevilles Converted Shaker and Farmhouse cabinets have two style options. The Shaker option has a simple flat panel door in a mitered frame. The Farmhouse option has a simple single raised panel door in a mitered frame. Either design option allows the doors and drawers to be opened by hand without door pulls or door handles. While this cabinet is very elegant in a natural finish or stain as shown in the picture here, it is most often painted to replicated the look of a prairie or farmhouse kitchen. There is only a 2 to 4 week time frame for custom painted or stained cabinets and you can pick any color, or you can get them unfinished and paint and stain them yourself.
