7 Measuring Your Vanity When planning for your new space, measurements are an essential element to capture and review as you build your new vanity. Using the sample drawing for reference, plot out the dimensions of your room s space in the grid below. As you capture these measurements, please remember these key items: A. Provide the overall width, especially if cabinetry will go wall to wall. B. Note the location of any window, door or other construction obstacle on the wall receiving cabinetry and include the height above the floor for any window if cabinetry will be placed below. C. Provide the distance from the start of the opening to the plumbing. D. Note the location of any electrical receptacle, fixed mirror or any other object that might affect the location of cabinets, countertop or backsplash. E. Indicate any wall directly adjacent to cabinetry location, ensuring there is 22" of depth available without obstruction. F. Measure the overall length of opening. G.
