4 3:45 4:15 pm CASE STUDY: Moving Beyond Pilots: Development and validation of mhealth solutions for remote and continuous Monitoring of Motor Function The objective is to implement quantification of motor dysfunction in clinical trials using machine learning algorithmic analysis derived from biometric monitoring through a smartphone (Apptomics s imotor) and/or smartphone/wearable sensor combination (Intel/TEVA s IWAP). Motor symptoms such as poor or excessive movement, tremor, gait and balance difficulties) are typically sporadically evaluated by clinicians using subjective rating scales in artificial environments. The use of biometric solutions could enable objective, real-world monitoring of motor dysfunction for both clinical research and patient care purposes.
