It is wellknown but rarely considered that the availability of fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables is slowly diminishing throughout the United States. Traditional farms are struggling to compete in an ever-expanding global market for produce. Keeping up with demand is becoming more difficult as populations grow, and farmland shrinks. The difficulties faced by farmers can, in part, be attributed to antiquated farming methods that consume more resources than is truly necessary. AKuaponics3D, LLC aims to address the issue of diminishing local agricultural production by introducing Namaste Coin: An agricultural system built to interact with a hybrid Proof-of-Work algorithm commonly referred to as Proof-of-Research on the BOINC network that will help provide computing power to scientists and researchers in numerous fields of study who require massive computing power to process data. Within this system, a series of indoor vertical farms that utilize a combination of many sustainable agricultural, permaculture, automation and renewable energy resources that will be incorporated into the ecosystem to provide tangible products and services, thereby incentivizing local populations to be involved in the network. Miners will be able to purchase specialized mining devices that can be fit onto homes, vehicles, and even wearable tech that as a network will generate Namaste Coin which can then be redeemed for produce and services from AKuaponics3D, LLC facilities or traded on an exchange just like many other cryptocurrencies. WHY? Because not everyone wants to buy or trade cryptocurrencies, but everyone wants a smaller grocery bill and fresh food.

2 TARGET AUDIENCE Scientists, Programmers, Cryptologists, Investors, Consumers, AgTech Enthusiasts, Sustainability Consultants, Nutritionists, Restaurant Owners, Food Security Enthusiasts, and Typical Consumers who want to help make a big contribution to society while cutting their grocery bill. LEGAL INFORMATION If the sale of tokens does not equal the amount needed to fund the project s development, or if funds raised by the token sale do not facilitate successful negotiations with lenders and/or venture capitalists to fund the project, the proceeds (minus any fees from transmission, escrow providers, or unforeseen complications) will be refunded to all supporters. It is important to note that by conducting a pre-sale of the tokens before the launch of the project should in no way be construed as an investment in the assets or interest in the business. Namaste Coin was developed to be used as a utility token that can be used for the intended purpose or can be freely traded once exchange avenues become available. While we would be very happy to see and we will explore every avenue to facilitate the value rise to allow our customers the ability to have more purchasing power, there should be no assumption made that the value will remain constant or rise. INTRODUCTION While planning the initial facility to be used in Alaska, we knew there was one piece of the puzzle missing. Sure, it would be great to have a tourist-friendly aquarium-style aquaponics farm that would be controlled by AI and produce tons of fresh food for the local population. But, how could we create a positive impact on a global scale? After researching the concept of blockchain technology, the answer to that question became obvious: Cryptocurrencies that allow people to participate in Citizen Science by lending computing power to scientific researchers. But, besides having a positive impact on humanity, where else was the incentive to have people participate? And, in that moment, Namaste Coin was born. The ability to have a positive impact on the health and well-being of people both on a local and global scale, and receive a tangible reward for participation. How are people helping advance scientific research? The pioneer of this concept is an already established cryptocurrency called GridCoin, which utilizes Proof-of-BOINC (Berkeley Open Infrastructure Network Computing Grid) protocol and there is a whitelist of projects to which Namaste Coin participants can help contribute computing power. These projects include, but are not limited to, cancer/hiv/alzheimer s research, DNA sequencing, Quantum

3 chemistry, complicated mathematical equations, physical sciences, biology and medicine, and earth sciences data. Only whitelisted BOINC projects will be eligible for a reward. Plainly stated, the Proof-of-Research is an algorithm that ties together two of the most common blockchain miner rewards: Proof-of-Stake and Proof-of-Work, but is much more efficient in doing so. We are developing specialized mining systems that will utilize renewable energy and increase the miner s efficiency. Most of the current methods of cryptocurrency mining are pricey, only process arbitrary data and are energy-hogs. We aim to make an affordable miner that can run with almost no maintenance from the user, thereby making it easily adoptable to those who are not tech-savvy and capable of providing an uninterrupted supply of computing power to the BOINC projects. Main Facility Hub PRODUCTS Produce & Fish A wide variety of fish and produce. Customers will be able to use the website or app to select favorites and set recurring deliveries or choose to pick up from a facility. We will be able to track the demographics of food consumed by the local population and tailor our crop planting to specific interests of that regions population. An open design for visitors will simulate a trip to an aquarium. The facilities will allow visitors to wander through non-sensitive production areas to view aquaponics/hydroponics installations up-close. This will also be very beneficial for educational centers to be able to come study, learn and experience a large-scale indoor farm. 3D Printed Novelty Items Because each facility will also host tours, we will have many products available to visitors to bring home customized souvenirs. The 3D printers will also be utilized to produce replacement parts for the production systems, keeping down-time and repair costs to a minimum.

4 Tourism & Education The farms will be designed in such a way that tourists, classes and even people on their lunch breaks can come to visit and be amazed by the beauty while enjoying the many benefits we will offer. Think of each farm as being a place where you can walk through and observe the workings of the farm, have a lunch made with freshly harvested produce, and pick up novelty souvenirs. Mining Network Smart-Home/Business Mining Devices A wide range of highly advanced, renewable energy mining devices can be combined to fit a home, office, restaurant or apartment to automatically mine Namaste Coin. The devices are sometimes referred to as parasitic generators which utilize wasted energy from every day sources. An example of such, is the wasted energy from the air-flow of central heating & A/C units. The outside unit will be fitted with a wind turbine that is activated when the air begins to flow into the system. Inside of the vents, small turbines will utilize the internal air-flow. The devices will be connected to a micro-computing device that is hidden inside of the duct and connected to wi-fi. Another example would be using small water turbines connected to the main water source (both in and out flowing) to capture potential hydro-electric power. Which is then connected to a microcomputing device and connected to wi-fi. Wearable Devices We will design a fashionable line of wearable-tech microcomputers that are designed to mine Namaste Coin continuously. Bracelets, shoe inserts and even pet collars can all be developed to help connect the network. Subsequent device designs will also monitor activity to make diet suggestions based on activity level and a userprovided health profile. This feature is based on some very promising research in the field and will be modified as new information becomes available.

5 Vehicle & Bicycle Devices Microcomputer, kinetic and/or thermal energy powered miners that can mine while vehicle is in motion. Connects through phone wi-fi. Subsequent models will be connected to cell towers. This feature is still in the design phase, and will be updated as new developments become available. Connectivity The more devices that are connected, the stronger the customer s network. We will continue to design products that can grow and expand a customer s network, thereby maximizing the rewards. Wallet & Website The security of the wallet will be standard to most wallets available today. By using 2-Factor Authentication and security phrases, the ability of an anonymous attacker gaining control of the wallet is almost impossible. Hybrid Centralization Model Namaste Coin will design a hybrid centralized and decentralized infrastructure. The idea behind building a hybrid model is to allow for scalability, keep the mining pools small and allowing a participant more control over their private network. In the private network, a participant will have the ability to monitor their use of resources (i.e. water and energy consumption), network status, order history and more. As the system matures, it will be able to make recommendations on how to improve energy consumption, customized recipes based on order history and more. This network will be secure and similar in concept to a VPN (Virtual Private Network). At no point is this information available to anyone outside of the private network. If, on the off-chance, there is a security breach, the user need only change the master address to regain control. And, if one private network is compromised, it will in no way affect the rest of the private or farm networks.

6 The real decentralization happens when the information is sent to the facility. A participant s identity will be hidden behind a Skein hash algorithm which will assign a public ID that does not transmit personally identifiable information, and allows the facility to accurately attribute the work to an individual private network. All basic information is funneled into the facility s network, and from there, sent for final confirmation between the different farms before being transmitted to BOINC. This way, it would not matter if one farm has 50 local participants or 5,000; Any congestion on a network would only be localized to one area, and not the entire network. If one farm becomes congested, we can focus efforts in one area to eliminate the congestion. This is very useful in keeping the information flowing, and the miners running at peak efficiency. FRAUD PREVENTION If somehow a fraudulent user is attempting to manipulate the system, the block will be rejected. This is done by the facility utilizing netsoft-online, a very well distributed BOINC credit check farm. If the block can be verified, it is accepted and confirmed. The process is then repeated by a minimum of six nodes before being committed permanently to the blockchain. If, for some reason, a block cannot be confirmed, the Namaste Coin network will go into a Disaster Recovery mode. In this mode, the node will search for a previous instance of the miner s public ID. If the public ID is found on the chain, the network will validate the block within a tolerance parameter based on the historical data of the miner. And, by using this procedure, the network can tolerate outages due to internet connectivity issues or nodes becoming unresponsive.

7 PUBLIC LEDGER Just as many cryptocurrencies allow people to freely explore the ledger, Namaste Coin users will be able to do the same. As the system progresses, participants will be able to track transactions in real time. The ledger will not include any personally identifiable information and utilize only public addresses. This feature is another way to maintain transparency of the project, but it s actual usefulness or necessity has yet to be determined. VALUE The value in Namaste Coin will be proven through the success of the right combination of food production, tourism, technological advancements, products, services, data collection and processing, and contributions to society through scientific projects. While many other cryptocurrencies are wasteful by computing relatively meaningless data, Namaste Coin wants to help divert that energy into a productive contribution to these fields of research. CONCLUSION Namaste Coin is a pioneer in the field of combining modern technology with ancient knowledge in the agricultural industry. We aim to build farms that are not only sustainable, but are also zero-waste, zero-emission, and contribute more resources than are consumed. This philosophy goes against the status-quo, and is perhaps slightly ahead of its time. But we are confident that consumer demand will grow exponentially once we have a working example of how we can elegantly and flawlessly combine technology and agriculture into a harmonious eco-system that is abundantly rich in many types of resources.
