5 1 ONBOARD EQUIPMENT TECH CARE At TOTAL LUBMARINE we designed our TECH CARE systems to be easy-to-use onboard lubricant laboratories to give rapid feedback on lubricant condition, and if necessary supporting immediate corrective action to be taken to safeguard machinery. The TECH CARE range of equipment is intended to be robust for use in marine applications and to give reliable and repeatable results. All TECH CARE reagents, are considered non-hazardous for road, sea and air transportation meaning we can ship them to your vessel at almost any destination using conventional courier services, another example of TOTAL LUBMARINE working hard to optimize your efficiency. TECH CARE STANDARD Equipped with the advanced Rapid Oil Test Gauge to measure and monitor the water content of lubricants up to 1.5%. The gauge is conveniently controlled by the operator using a front panel keypad with display whilst a USB communication port is provided to download test results to a computer. > Water content to 1.5% H 2 O > Sea water presence > Viscosity TECH CARE PRO.2 The TECH CARE PRO.2 is a true portable lubricant analysis mini laboratory. 6 1ONBOARD EQUIPMENT TECH CARE TCC TECH CARE TCC, provides ship operators with a compact onboard kit that allows them to quickly and easily measure the level of all iron contained in the cylinder drain oil sample. RELIABILITY: Thanks to an accurate optical device that directly delivers the concentration of iron in ppm (parts per million) in an easy to read format. LABORATORY SERVICES DRAIN OIL ANALYSIS & OPTIMIZATION TECHNICAL EXPERTISE & SUPPORT SIMPLICITY: Gives any crew member the capability to run the test by following the step by step instructions displayed on the screen of the device. RAPID: Less than 10 minutes are needed to run a test on one sample. FUTURE PROOF: Data can be easily transferred to a computer and firmware that can be upgraded free of charge if an improved version is released. SAFETY: The use of non-hazardous reagents allows for safer use and unrestricted shipment including air transport. No requirement for Dangerous Goods transportation. COST EFFECTIVE: Consumables for 50 analyses are included in the kit and replenishment packs are low cost. Regular use of TECH CARE TCC to monitor data trends is extremely important and should be complemented by on-shore laboratory tests provided by our DIAGOMAR PLUS service. Our test kits are designed to be user-friendly, they include a comprehensive user guide and help videos to assist/enable any crew member to carry out the tests. 7

7 2 LABORATORY SERVICES DIAGOMAR PLUS Onshore lubricant analysis to thoroughly monitor the health of your equipment. You can be assured that as soon as your used oil sample is received at one of our laboratory facilities it is in safe hands. Our dedicated teams will register each individual sample with its unique reference which can then be viewed in real-time via our DIAGOMAR PLUS portal, giving you confidence it is being followed throughout the entire process. Each sample is carefully analyzed and referenced against both industry standard values and our knowledge based expertise. Giving you an effective result with valuable comments helping you to decide what action, if any, you should take. Once the analysis has been performed, your local Marine Lubricant Engineer will personally review the results of the analysis before authorising its delivery to you via your nominated accounts ensuring you get your analysis results with the minimum of delay right where you need them. Thereafter, as you would expect, your Marine Lubricant Engineer remains available to assist you and to advise on any necessary course of action. 8
