1 REQUEST FOR INFORMATION PMO FINSAS : HAND HELD TARGET ACQUISITION DEVICE 1. Ministry of Defence, Government of India is desirous of procuring Hand Held Target Acquisition Device for the Infantry. With the view to identify probable vendors who can undertake the said project, OEMs/Vendors are requested to forward information on the product which they can offer. The parameters/broad specifications of the item are mentioned in the questionnaire attached as per Appendix 'A'. In addition the vendors are required to furnish details as per performa at Appendix 'B'. 2. The Hand Held Target Acquisition Device so desired by the Infantry should be a light weight and ruggedized device to enable day and night view of the desired area including capturing/ storing/transferring of data to include video, still photographs and graphic image to specified location. The device should be able to display the captured data to the user. 3. Apart from the information as per the Appendices the vendors may also forward technical details/product brochures/literature etc pertaining to the item in question. 4. If yes, specify the types of ports and connectors? (vii) Does the HHTA have the capability to store the captured video/still images? If yes, what is the storage capacity and facility? (f) Switches. (i) What are the various switches for enabling / disabling each inbuilt device in HHTA? If yes, please give detailed specifications. (ii) What is the Switch ON and Switch OFF time of HHTA? (g) Size and Weight. What are the dimensions and weight of the HHTA Device? (h) Environmental Specifications. (i) What are the temperature ranges in which HHTA can operate without affecting the performance? (ii) What humidity levels and at what temperatures can be sustained by HHTA?
