In a special development project our engineers and designers have collected and tested many ideas for several years, as well as implementing results from our research. 3 3 The design is convincing with a clear-cut and slender appearance. The side profile forms an attractive surface continuing across the whole of the front casing the Protection-Shield. Just above the front window is a touch display which is positioned to fit in harmonically as well as ergonomically. Both of the side verticals visually encompass the workspace, which has been constructed with maximum safety in mind, and above all fulfill a crucial functional aspect. The recessed light-band, highly visible from afar, informs through its colour coding about the current operating state and warns the user early and conspicuously of potential dangers. This effect is reinforced by the intelligent illumination of the front window lower edge, which encloses the completely glazed and optimally visible workspace made from high grade stainless steel. To ensure easy cleaning, special attention was paid to the smooth and virtually joint-free design of the surfaces. A puristiccolor and material combination made from fine white powder coating and first-class materials, such as stainless steel and glass communicates premium quality and precision. 4 4 The touch display is the central interface and control unit for the user. The touch display of the new generation is intuitive in its operation with a self-explanatory menu. Top quality pictograms together with a puristic design speak a clear language. The superior TFT-Display with LED background lighting is arranged in a central position and easy to reach. The display can be easily read from a sitting as well as a standing position. All safetyrelated parameters such as airflow velocities and front screen position are displayed in large graphical images. Errors are shown clearly, with possible error correction suggestions. - Individual user profiles (language, with specific devices connected/disconnected, etc.) can be generated. There are many possibilities to simply the operations for the user. - The implementation and display of data from external equipement (eg. particle counter, sensors) is possible. - A comprehensive 22-point quick user guide in pictorial form facilitates instruction considerably. - Energy efficient TFT-Display with LED-background lighting. - Resolution: 800 x 480 pixels - Size: 152 x 91 mm - Monitor diagonal size: 7 = 17,8 cm The touch display of the new generation safety cabinets are characterized by intuitive operation and a very user-friendly menu - so easy! Since 2002 we have been using as the first European manufacturer of safety cabinets the microbiological test method in accordance with DIN 12980, EN and NSF 49 for the verification of the protection functions. With this most frequently used method worldwide, we test and optimize the safety functions of our safety cabinets. Personal, product and crosscontamination proctection of a safety cabinet has prime priority. Numerous published investigations prove the outstanding performance of our safety cabinets.

5 5 Sensor technology: The first safety cabinet, which recognizes you. Current research findings prove, that the movements of a person close to the work opening can have a considerable effect on the protection functions. A detection system for disruptive air flow, registered as a new patent, detects momements by people and generates a warning signal. This preventive system warns you of possible dangers in good time.

6 6 FlexFlow: Great flexibility maximum protection. Effective airflow as as well as filtration properties play a decisive factor in relation to the protective funtions of a safety cabinet. To this belong personal, product and crosscontamination protection. The performance envelope tests in our own research laboratory have shown that the new generation due to its innovative construction, demonstrates a high band width in terms of performance envelope of the protection functions. These unique properties enable great flexibility when choosing the operating points with maximum protection. With the new generation the user has the choice of three different operating modes, without neglecting the basic protective functions.

7 7 Eco-Mode / Standard-Mode / GMP-Mode These can be easily selected using the touch display. In the Eco-Mode air flow is continually adjusted, so that the safety cabinet works very quietly and extremely energy-efficiently. The standard mode offers the user the perfect balance between performance and energy saving, whereas the GMP-Mode meets the most demanding requirements. GreenTec: Innovative technology reduces energy consumption by up to 97 %. During the development of the new generation great emphasis was placed on low operating costs as well as an environmentally friendly design GreenTec.
