13 We find the common denominator. When defining a product, we make sure to take all perspectives into account. We start with the user needs and work our way backwards through business to technology.

15 Using the right Tools There are so many tools on the market, sometimes it s hard to stay on top. We utilize our experiences from many projects to always come up with the right one. Sometimes we use renowned frameworks like Strategyzer or Javeline. Additionally we develop our own tools like the Confidence Board, which we use to evaluate assumptions and translate those directly into an MVP roadmap.

17 Product relaunch for scook. The challenge scook, a digital learning-and teaching platform with over 160K users, has been growing rapidly in the last few years. Due to many new features, the key benefits of the platform were hard to identify. The briefing The product needed to clearly reiterate its focus. ITR8 was asked to revise the home page as well as update and improve the product portfolio on the site. Additionally, we were asked to re-think the mobile and desktop concept. 19 Innovation-App for Cornelsen Publishing. The challenge Students needed an overview of their current homework and the possibility to discuss tasks with their fellow students. The briefing Students needed to be motivated to do their homework. In order to achieve this, we built an MVP with integrated task manager and messaging. 20 Our approach. Identify the hypotheses and quickly test the product. 1. Collaborative prioritisation of planned features with clients, to work out the most important and risky hypotheses. 2. Starting with the chosen hypotheses, selection of a feature set to be validated. 3. Discussion with the tech and product teams and adaptation to their technologies. 4. 21 SODI e.v. The challenge: Over the course of 2015, SODi experienced a sharp decline in donations. In addition, their existing web presence was perceived as unclear, unstructured and difficult to use. The briefing: ITR8 prepared, implemented and moderated a Design Thinking workshop for the SODi team, to develop user-centred ideas and directly test them together. 22 Our approach. 1. Creation and facilitation of a mixed team to develop hypotheses. 2. Drafting the actual problem: We want to find a digital solution to increase our online donations by 10,000 in Specifying the target group through the creation of proto-personas. 4. Hallway Testing the created prototypes with real users. 5. Elaborating the prototypes based on the user feedback. 23 Sales application for Studio71 The challenge The Studio71 sales team is busy processing many different inquiries for collaborations with their YouTubers every day. The manual process costs a lot of time and effort. Despite suitable candidates, many deals can t be closed if the budget is small. The briefing To begin the automatization of the sales workflow, sedcards and cases needed to be shown directly online, without having to be manually picked out by staff. 24 Our approach. Establish the basis for a sustainable, iterative development. 1. Connection of different data-outlets to retrieve data any time (DWH, SalesForce, Drupal). 2. Generation of digital sedcards in order to be filled by the API. 3. Display of the cases filled by the API. 4. 25 Start-up in Residence: kukua About kukua kukua connects entrepreneurs in developing countries with business experts in Germany. The social start-up aims to bring positive change to corporate environments by boosting employee retention and employer branding. How we contribute ITR8 helped design the business model for kukua and prototyped their MVP. We were also one of the first companies to successfully participate in kukua s program.
