1 Two Days International Workshop on Recent trends in Computer Vision 30th November 1 st December, 2017 Organized by Centree of Excellence, in association with Russian Federation JIS College of Engineering, Block A, Phase III, Kalyani, Nadia, JIS College of Engineering( An Autonomous Institute), Kalyani, West Bemgal has organized Two Days International Workshop on Recent Trends in Computer Vision 0n 30th November 1st December, 2017 by Centree of Excellence, in association with Russian Federation. Sushkova,Junior Researcher, Kotel nikov Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics,Russian Academy of Sciences,(IRE RAS) Moscow, Russia. Ivan A. 3 Near about 50 participants attended the workshop. Fig 4: During Workshop First session was delivered by Dr. Nitish Ojha and his subject of deliberation was Computer Vision followed by a discussion session. After lunch break second session was initiated by Dr.Olga S. Sushkova and Alexandra V. Gabova and they explained an investigation of specificity of features of early stages of Parkinson's disease obtained using the method of cerebral cortex electrical activity analysis based on wave train. 4 Next Ivan A. Kershner delivered his presentation on Post-traumatic Epilepsy in rat's: An algorithm for detection of suspicious EEG activity. Dr. Alexei A. Morozov delivered his presentation on The Actor Prolog Project: Past, Present, and Future and after that we concluded the Day-1 Schedule. On December 1st, 2017 Dr. Alexei A. Morozov delivered a Tutorial on Logic Programming in Actor Prolog, Basics of the structured logic programming. He also explained Object-oriented logic programming like Classes and slots.,inheritance of classes,near and far calls of predicates, Interfaces, Predefined classes. Morozov delivered a tutorial on Logic Programming of Intelligent Visual Surveillance, High-level and low-level video processing, A virtual machine for the low-level video processing in Actor Prolog, A simple Actor Prolog program that analyses 3D data collected using Time-of-Flight (ToF) camera of Kinect 2. In the valedictory session all the participants and organizing committee members are facilitated by certificates and at last vote of thanks was given by Ms. Debasree Mitra, Coordinator of the Workshop, Assistant Professor of Department,.

5 Objectives of the Workshop: Computer vision is concerned with the automatic extraction, analysis and understanding of useful information from a single image or a sequence of images. It involves the development of a theoretical and algorithmic basis to achieve automatic visual understanding. Computer vision is related with the theory and technology for building artificial systems that obtain information from images or multi-dimensional data. A significant part of artificial intelligence deals with planning or deliberation for system which can perform mechanical actions such as moving a robot through some environment. Outcomes from the Workshop: Fig 1: Valedictory Session Understand the foundations of modern computer vision theory, problem and state of the art solutions. Implement and test some fundamental computer vision algorithms analyze and evaluate critically the building and integration of computer vision algorithms and systems. Design and demonstratee a working computer vision system through camera calibration, team research project, and project report, presentation. Continue to critically review and assess scientific literature and apply the knowledge and skills gained from the course in developing innovative applications.
