1 COMPANY PROFILE INTRODUCTION Discovery Drilling Contractors was established in 1999 as an independent exploration drilling company. Since establishment this company has grown into an efficient and effective business unit, maintaining the highest standards with regards to personnel, equipment, health and safety and delivery of quality core to its clients. We are proud to present Discovery Drilling Contractors as the complete solution for exploration drilling needs. Our service is solid, based on experience and quality of both management and field personnel, as well as rugged, safe and dependable drilling equipment. 2 SAFETY We take pride in an excellent safety record. Hundreds of thousands of metres have been safely drilled in conditions varying from good to extremes with regards to terrain, weather and rock formations. Teams are well equipped, both mentally and physically to prevent incidents and always put safety first. A complete safety management system is implemented and maintained by an external risk management consultancy. A complete risk assessment package have been developed, forming the basis of thorough safe work procedures on which regular training and retraining are presented to the teams. Employees are fully represented in all health and safety matters. MANUFACTURING OF EQUIPMENT Years of experience in the exploration drilling environment have taught us valuable lessons with regards to the requirements of an excellent drilling machine. At Discovery Drilling we manufacture our own drilling machines to specifications answering those requirements. We are continuously striving to beat the odds and the competition by delivering quality equipment and an effective maintenance and repair program to the drilling teams.

3 PRODUCTION Discovery Drilling averages 1500m per rig per month. This in itself is an excellent record and should indicate to the client that we do not intend for a machine to waste any time on a hole. Our drilling record is 2536m with 1 rig in 22 days. Although our production is better than average, we still maintain good track discipline, our environmental control is above question, our labour relations and facilities for workers are top class and very importantly our relationship with the land owners/farming communities on the land where we have drilled have been excellent and it will always remain a priority of Discovery Drilling and its employees. We have 12 drill rigs capable of drilling BQ down to 2,500m. We also have our own transport department consisting of trucks and low beds to mobilize drill rigs and equipment to site.
