13 Role of Ectomycorrhizal Symbiosis in Drought Tolerance of Quercus Suber Nasslahsen Bouchra 1*, Smouni Abdelaziz 2, Fahr Mona 3, Ouajdi Mohamed 4, Abbas Younes 5 Abstract The Moroccan Maamora forest is one of the largest cork oak forests in the Mediterranean area. In this important forest, characterized by sandy soils, water disturbance is the major factor that leads to the degradation and destruction of cork oak stands. Ectomycorrhizal symbiosis is a good alternative and can induce functional and structural modifications that alleviate Quercus suber plants from water stress. This study was carried out to assess the response of young cork oak plants inoculated by nine fungal isolates (Russul sp. Lactar controversus, Amanita pantherina, Cortinarius sp., Hebeloma sp., Boletus sp., Lactarius volemus, Inocybe sp. And Scleroderma sp.) to water deficit. The results showed that controlled mycorrhization improve significantly plants tolerance to drought stress. Boletus sp. was the most efficient isolate that procured to cork oak seedlings a better stomatacal conductance, root and shoot dry weight and chlorophyll content. Also, the leaf water potential, proline and anthocyanin accumulation were lower in seedlings with Boletus inoculation. After drought stress stage, cork oak plants have been rehydrated and again, Boletus sp. produced a mean recovery of 60% while it was only 1% in plants control. These data clearly show that the inoculation of cork oak plants with ectomycorrhizal isolates, such as Boletus sp. could be a very interesting pathway in the sandy soils of Maamora and subsequently in determining the success of its regeneration programmes. 14 Securing Cloud Computing Environment: A Systematic Literature Review Marwah M. Talib * Abstract Cloud Computing is flexible, convenient and on demand service that provide business over the internet. While it seems to be appealing solution for many technical problems, it brings out security concerns as well. This paper identifies the security issues for each deployment model and gives suitable solution for each security problem. Based on Systematical Literature Review (SLR) the content of 63 publications was analyzed to find the main topics in cloud security and the solutions for security problems. 15 Optimization of Central Patterns Generators Abdalftah Elbasir Gumah Elbori 1*, Mehmet Turan 2, Kutluk Bilge Arıkan 3 Abstract The issue of how best to optimize Central Patterns Generators (CPG) for locomotion to generate motion for one leg with two degrees of freedom has inspired many researchers to explore the ways in which rhythmic patterns obtained by genetic algorithms may be utilized in uncoupled, unidirectional and bidirectional two CPGs. This paper takes as its assumption that the focus on stability analysis to decrease variation between steps brings about better results with respect to the gait locomotion and argues that controlling the amplitude and frequency may lead to more robust results viz., stimulation for movement. 17 Intercultural Communication Competence of Turkish Teachers at Islamic Boarding School Sulaimaniyah in Medan-Indonesia Dr. Inon Beydha Abstract This article is an study case of some long academic teaching at Islamic Boarding School in Medan, Indonesia which five turkish teachers from the Turkey taught applied linguistics courses in the Islamic Boarding School Sulaymaniyyah in Medan, Indonesia. A description of the professional fine-tuning made by the instructor in different areas of teaching due to local culture conditions, student characteristics, and institutional realities is given. Also addressed here are some of the intercultural communication adjustments in academic required in cross-cultural Turkish teacher s exchanges. The author aspires to an approach to teaching which takes into account the academic, communication, competence and cultural factors that influence education in any given context Turkey and Indonesia, an orientation which has been described as foreign teachers (expatriate) competence in intercultural communication. Implications are also made for other schools who embark on international educational and who may need to make changes in how they adjust and adap their intercultural communication themselves professionally and/or personally when they are in intercultural teaching and learning competence and adjustment. 18 Children s Awareness of Their Rights as Stated in the UNCRC Ghadah Abdulrahman Abahussain Abstract This paper discusses children s awareness of children s rights and the UNCRC. It aims to answer the question, are children aware of the UNCRC? It is a qualitative study; a focus group was used to collect data from the children. The study sample contains 36 children aged between 9 and 11. The finding is that children in Saudi Arabia do not have awareness of their rights and the UNCRC and suggests that further action must be taken to improve children s awareness of their rights.
